Peter's videos do not serve well to divide people, they actually show how good and how everyone is the same, which could be problematic for the global oligarchy, since Peter's videos could "create" more people who would oppose our governments going into other countries to cause mayhem, hardships and death. People who watch Peter's videos likely won't approve of our governments going to overthrow other people's governments. I can't see Peter being picked up by major networks. Peter's videos are the best, for most of those reasons.

Networks mainly show content that pushes some political or ideological agenda, or serves someone's economic interests. Much is to brainwash people and make them dumb. That's what I love about KZitem and "Alternative Media". It's real real "reality shows". Let's embrace it while we have it. In the past year both FB and YT have started to crack down on what they deemed as "misinformation", most of these bans being politically motivated.

@@ericktwelve11 I can probably answer that for you. My husband grew up in horrible poverty in Russia, as in worse than the projects here. He was very highly motivated to create a good life so that his future wife and children never had to go without. Tho we live a very privileged life now my husband is still a very humble human being. His mother though who spent more time in Russia is incredibly materialistic and I think she's trying to make up for time of spending her first 30 plus years living in poverty.

Peter I just wanna touch on a few points in your video . I am an immigrant who moved here in 1995 when I was five years old . We sold everything we had for pennies on the dollar including two businesses and moved over to United States and basically started from absolutely nothing. ...about Russians in America or Ukrainians in America is that there are two different types. There are those who have had a very poor life in Ukraine or Russia that immigrate over to the United States and they end up absolutely loving everything about United States because to them they had absolutely nothing and of course they like everything about for example living in Miami. On the contrary there are those who have had a great life in Ukraine or Russia but decided to leave do to safety concerns in the early 90s. My dad for example lives in Hallandale Beach where your video is taking place. Started cleaning houses back in the late 90s and then transitioned to working in construction as many Russians do. He is still working in construction as a GC and each and every single day still works very hard labour. Whenever I talk to him on the phone he always mentions how he doesn’t understand to this day more than 20 years later why in the world my mother would decide to move to United States. The life and businesses that we have had there and everything so easy accessible and plentiful. Me after travelling most of Europe and say that life there is a lot more interesting - also the people there are a lot more unique- there is culture incredible scenery. What do we actually have in Florida ? Nice sandy beaches boating -and nice water to swim in. What about insane property taxes or the incredible income taxes of 40%. There is a lot that could be said but the most important thing that I have come to figure out when I ask other fellow Russians on Ukrainians if they like it here and they tell me they absolutely love it here and the reason for that is because they came from absolutely nothing and when that’s the scenario of course they would love it in 95F Florida .

As a Russian-speaker myself, albeit born in the US, I can attest to Sunny Isles and its surrounding Slavic enclaves representing the absolute worst that Russian/Ukrainian culture has to offer. "A country within a country" as the interviewee states is nothing more than a superficial bubble with superficial people driving around in fancy cars that their perpetual scheming has afforded them, while their spouses are sleeping with their next-door neighbor. I'm glad to see all the Brighton Beach babushkas flocking to South Florida - the ones who just like the one in the video have been in the United States for several decades and have yet to express an interest in learning English, whilst receiving housing subsidies and free medicare despite never or seldom having worked in this country, all the while bashing America and nostalgically speaking of how good (based on their perception) things were in the former Soviet Union. When I visited this very strip in Sunny Isles a year ago, I felt like I had just stepped out of a time machine, taking me back several decades, yet these folks continue to relish in a culture of regression.
@stanislavdidenko8436

It's two-sided phenomenon. I never could get people who migrated into US just to reconstruct another version of their home country. They forcefully isolate themselves from the greatest culture and self-development. On the other side they are not loosing their identity and traditions that fast. So let it be. Americans shouldn't worry about them, France had shown that 99% of Russian identity gets lost in three generations.

So disappointed in this episode, man. As a Russian born, Sunny Isles resident, this doesn't cover much. With all due respect to my neighbor Vitaly, what he showed you is just surface level. Next time you're in town, I'd be happy to take you on a real tour.

To get everything in with around 30 minutes is not always that easy. I enjoy peters videos, but get your point to a certain extent. 👍🏼

There’s a part 2 and if enough feedback Peter is known to do a deep dive if interest is there

Yeah felt the same. Not his best video. I felt Peter was talking ages with the guy, instead of showing us around more Russian style places & influence in Florida. But maybe he should go to Little Odessa or Brighton Beach

@@kw2142 Brighton Beach has nothing to do with Russia or Russians. It's a Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn built by Jews that moved to the US from Odessa (a Jewish city in the USSR, present day Ukraine).

@@lollolich2399 There is no such a thing as "Russian Jews". Jews are Jews. They may be Jews from Russia, but they are still Jews, not Russians. However, Jews in Brooklyn are not from Russia. They are mostly from the city in Ukraine called Odessa, which used to be a city with a huge Jewish population. So, they have absolutely nothing to do with Russia, other than the language. However, the "Russian" language they speak is nowhere similar to the Russian language spoken in the present day Russia, not even mentioning that they speak mostly a mix between Russian and English.

Sunny isles the main spot of Russians on Miami! I love it I’ve been to that plaza a million times. When I was in high school I immersed myself with their culture I went to their Pentecostal church and had a ton of Russian and Ukrainian friends. It’s really an interesting culture but they are 1000% family oriented I love it

Really enjoyed seeing my area on your video. Sunny Isles is in North Miami Beach, saw you drive thru Hallandale, to Aventura and up to Hollywood. Yes, there are many Russian Jews who got out of Russia because of religious freedom here in America. Hollywood Beach is really booming right now because of Spring Break. But in Broward there are many people wearing masks and being careful further out west away from the tourist areas. BTW, my Aunt and Uncle used to live in that condo building where you were interviewing those older ladies!

Wonder how the Russians and Ukrainians feel about each other now in America.

I live down here and know quite a few Russian immigrants. All the ones I know absolutely despise Putin; that's why most moved here in the first place. The Russians I know here are ashamed of what's happened to their homeland and are supportive of a Ukrainian victory. Therefore, at least in my experience, the South Florida Russians and Ukrainians get along great.
