I love it when directors stick with known collaborators from their small indie films up to their big blockbuster projects!

Ryan is a beast! He’s the reason why I picked up a camera and became a videographer in Atlanta. Went from a iPhone 6 to a red raptor. Someday I hope to work with him.

I like this channel bcoz it helps me as a filmmaker to get a better visual grip on my own project that I'm currently prepping. And also for teaching me to build lasting working relationships with people who are best at what they do who in turn elevate me as the director to be the best at what I do by helping me foster a great vision and visual look for my movie. Thanx In Depth for the care you take in producing these videos!

Ryan is one of my favorite directors/screenwriters. Thanks for making this breakdown. It’s super informative and helping me decide if I want to get into screenwriting. I’m still on the fence. Idk if I just like researching screenwriting and directing or if I actually want to do it

I didn’t know the crowd/spectators in “Creed” was a post production effect. Now that’s impressive! It looked like it was shot on-location in a real arena.

Love your three different budget videos. Can you guys please consider Jody Hill. His first movie was The Foot Fist Way which cost $79,000 to make, then later he made Observe and Report for $18,000 and now he directs The Righteous Gemstones (not a movie, but each episode has to cost a fortune).

As much as I admire Black Panther's cultural impact, I don't think it should've been nominated for BEST PICTURE at the Oscars When you think about the other movies in the past, they all struggled to get recognition There is "The Dark Knight", "Spiderman 2" and "Logan" So it makes clear that Disney scammed the whole thing Just like Harvey Weinstein did with "Shakespeare in Love"

I actually will disagree and say Shakespeare was a Masterpiece.....I loved it more than Private Ryan, I could literally predict every move in SPR........but I guess is just an opinion

So many people share this sentiment, that black panther was overrated. But at a closer look, u realise it was truly a great film. I think some people just missed the film's beats. I can compare black panther in this regard to another hit film "Birdman". They have completely different tones but they both flow in such a way that u can miss their beats completely and fail to appreciate their genius. I recommend another viewing of the film

@@DialloMoore503 Well, I feel like Ryan is as good as Chazalle when it comes to Technical ability(school knowledge). His firs films show Master class, the Cinematography, lighting, lenses choice, blocking....all is great. The actors, and his casting decisions........ terrible in my opinion, Jordan is Jordan in every movie no offense of course, and to me that's really important. I know he said it gives freedom to have more money, but in Black panther it really didn't show, when you need more than technical ability, you gotta use your talent and passion to not make a film slow and trust me, I love slow movies, but Black panther was horrible at that. My opinion of course and I could be wrong of course
