Great episode, that sailing part was great. Katie did look like she was going to fall off the side, was just the angle of the shot

Probably the angle of the shot, although sometimes she likes to lean over looking for dolphins, and I have to tell her to be careful haha!

So happy for you two! Enjoyed the 2 drink drunk fest! So funny. Seriously, I am so locking forward to what your future book will look like, you have such a good eye for visual detail, great observation of your surroundings and the ability to put it altogether and share it! Truly, “Boundless!”

i’ll say it again…i’ve sailed/owned many fine yachts in my long life, and i would choose yours over any of them for what you are doing…she’s a fine, we’ll found, very capable yacht…not to overlook the very competent crew… id have to drill a small hole in the cabin part of the mast and fill that sucker with some light foam until i could fix it right…or wrap a blanket tightly around it so it wouldn’t ring like a bell…that would drive me absolutely nuts! love you guys!

Love the video of our getting into the Pacific Ocean and your visit to Panama City. I have a great friend from Panama City and she and her husband have been friends of my wife and I since 1965. Unfortunately we lost Sam to cancer 4 years ago and my wife to cancer 2 years ago. Looking forward to your sailing adventures and the rewiring of your mast to get rid of that noise. Don’t know how the previous owners put up with it.

Leave your anchor down the depth of your draft for a couple of km while moving at a few knots. The mud will wash off, And don't forget to reel it in.

Great tip! Definitely don't want to forget to haul it the rest of the way up! I may have forgotten once years ago when we first started living at anchor 🤣 Thankfully, a couple hours later when I realized it was still hanging there, no damage was done to anything (thankful for calm conditions that day)

Hey guys, maybe a quick fix or even a permanent fix for that nuisance wire clanging in the mast might be to drill a couple of small holes side by side, maybe 5mm apart and use some stiff wire bent into a hook to fish the loose wiring and pull it hard up against the inside wall of the mast and then secure it to the side using a tie or cable tie through the two holes and around the wire. Careful to remove any burring on the inside of the holes so as not to damage the wire.

Really love your videos! I have been a sailing fan for a long time and plan to buy a boat when I retire which hopefully and God willing is just a couple of years away. We have a lot in common I spent a lot of time in my younger days in and around Lake Erie. Your Erie Canal passage is a wonderful set of videos. I'm in Arizona now which is not as far as one would think from the Sea of Cortez. I hope you head into the Sea of Cortez it's very different from most bodies of water with very majestic scenery. God Bless and stay safe on your journey of a lifetime.

@@SailingSeawind just one thing, if I may... We own a '95 Gozzard 44 MK1 "A", hull #6 of only 24 in the world. We love our Rocinante as you love your Boundless! And one reason is... In Annapolis MD the Passport Brokerage sells Passports almost exclusively because the build quality of both the hull and interior are unmatched. Guess what? That very (almost) exclusive brokerage also brokers... Gozzard Yachts (the only other brand they sell) for the exact same reasons. Hence we feel a "kinship" with Gozzard and Passport owners for that very reason. =] Love your boat! and the amazing journey the two of you are taking her on!! =] We hope one day we might drop anchor in some beautiful place... then dingy over and share a sundowner and some sailing stories with you two. Fair seas and following winds! CJ&JD SV Rocinante
