Spem In Alium is indeed beautiful. My favorite hymn is Praise to the lord the almighty the king of creation

Thank you for all the great videos. I have a couple of questions. I am eastern Orthodox and have a great affinity for Western Rite Orthodox and the English office. 1. The most obvious, why did the Anglican Catholics not become WR Orthodox? From all your videos, the Anglican Catholics seem similar to the WR Orthodox. 2. For Anglican Catholics, is there a general fasting rule before receiving the Eucharist? 3. Do Anglican Catholics have a regular fasting schedule? What i mean is it the expected practice to fast certain days of the week and/certain times of the year? 4. Has there been any discussion of reunion with the Orthodox church? Thank you again for the wonderful and informative videos.

Hello, good to hear from you. To answer your questions. 1) The history of the Anglican Catholic Church's separation from the Anglican Communion is complicated. Also we have only be separate from the Anglican Communion for about 46-7 years which is a short space of time, theologically speaking. For much of that time, we have spent trying to establish ourselves internally as well as externally. Now that we have, perhaps we can focus on relationships with the Orthodox. It's also important to know that WRO is not something that is popular with ROCOR, so we have to be careful. 2) Yes, Anglican Catholics should fast from midnight before receiving the Eucharist. 3) We practice fasting and abstinence on Fridays and during penitential seasons, though many of us fast on Wednesdays and Saturdays, too. 4) I believe that OCA have spoken with our hierarchy. Though I have no clue about the significance, depth or progress of this dialogue. I would welcome its continuation towards some serious oecumenical dialogue.

hi i wanted to ask, if Anglican Catholic being protestant have to hold to a forensic view of justification, or if Anglican Catholicism has more in common with Roman Catholicism and Orthodoxy in this regard.

@@Warwickensis thanks I had not seen the video on Sola Fide. But would you not say that Anglican Catholicism IS protestant in its relation to Rome and Constantinople.

No. I would not say that Anglican Catholics are Protestant for we exist in the same manner that the Orthodox exist. I, for one, certainly distance myself from that term. kzitem.info/news/bejne/kYKamGqQr3N0dI4

@@Warwickensis I see having listened to that video, i understand your resistance to the term protestant. I share many if not all of the same convictions, but assumed that since Anglican catholicism grew out of Anglicanism that it technically still belonged to the protestant branch of christianity, though now i would see it more as a unique English expression of primitive/mediaeval?/prereformation christianity
