The Chicago Bulls are turning their season around, after the acquisition of Patrick Beverley helped them revitalize their defensive approach to become on of the best defenses in the NBA since the NBA All-Star break.
The Bulls defense takes a unique approach to defending pick and rolls, as it's a very group-oriented scheme that requires a lot of buy-in and trust in the gameplan. It's managed to turn Zach LaVine, who has historically been criticized for his defense, into a genuinely good defender. Alex Caruso has made a convincing case for an NBA All-Defensive First Team this year, and rising star Patrick Williams is showing he's capable of being one of the most versatile defenders in the NBA.
