"Coercion doesn't work." THEN YOU SAY "Russia and China use it because it's easy. " At least show the audience the respect of coming up with descent lies.

Greg. Chill my man. CIA doesn't like to use coercion because it creates a hostile asset, one likely to turn you in to authorities or worse, lure you into an ambush.

It's technically "easy" to just drop bombs on houses all the time instead of sending in SOF teams for more surgical work. That doesn't mean it's viable or worth the repercussions.

No one said "coercion doesn't work" but you here - what was ACTUALLY said in the video @5:10 was "it's a matter of efficiency, coercion doesn't work EFFECTIVELY" That was then followed up with a further explanation about what coercion doesn't work EFFECTIVELY... "...you just you put pictures of them 5:44 sleeping with somebody or your drinking 5:47 problem or they're in debt and they're 5:48 yours _but they're not really right_ 5:50 _they'll do the minimum they can and they_ 5:52 _can turn on you_ at any time where they 5:53 have the advantage..." ...you tried. But next time try not just blatantly ignoring the points that you don't want to hear. Especially when the rest of us can hear them(and read the transcript even).

I heard no contradiction. The bigger picture is, you can't really expect the CIA to be impartial & balanced in talking abt themselves vs say USSR/Russia. Those stars up on the wall in Langley - do you know where they come from? And yah, they gon' save their best lies for when it counts. You get the baby lies.

I must share: I'm a sound-to-color synesthete who has written a music-theory based on color-shapes. Well, there was this really cute guy who I asked to come and help me edit and document my work. He even played piano. But then he started talking about "Ideally, i'd like to work for the CIA or FBI." He had just come out of the job corps program. The problem is that with my knowledge of sound, I think I might be disliked by the people that are making and using sonic weapons here in the US. So, in closing, do I try to save the cute guy from becoming a spy on my own work? Should I move him in, or dis-associate from him completely? Does the CIA spy on dissenters? www.youtube.com/@theacousticrabbithole9608 (a link to my color-music theory here on u-Tube).

Could you guys have possibly conducted a more horrible interview???? Thanks for wasting everyone’s time and giving zero information. Here’s a little advice for the hosts: write down on a yellow legal pad some very basic questions that people without any knowledge in this area would want to know the answers to. Next, take about 2-5 mins to briefly rehash these questions with the interviewee PRIOR to your broadcast, so he’s not going off on rabbit trails and talking over everyone’s heads and wasting their time.
