Please how much did you spend on materials and workmanship?

Great work. It looks amazing. I prefer these concrete slabs to tiles. It helps to prevent flooding because the rain water is able to absorb into the ground.

Love this It is EXACTLY what I will be doing as of September. Not sure if to put small iron rods in each slab especially at the front where the cars will park. What would you do to improve the method if you were doing it all over again???

😊 If I had it to do all over again, I would have done proper slabs from the start onto the natural dirt instead of the screeding that was done previously. We have added a layer of concrete in the shape of slabs on this occasion.

It is looking so good! The hard-standing turned out so smart and modern! The gravel might be a struggle to keep in place though, so you might try binding it with an epoxy resin. Easier to sweep too. I planted around our compound (palms, citrus trees, pomegranates, strelitzias, cannas and plantains and cassava) and Ive really enjoyed watching them grow via our security cameras! We have a weekly gardener. Im considering having a big grass lawn with walkways instead of all concrete- i want to be surrounded by green! I was thinking about tiles for the walkways , but your hardstanding has given me ideas. 😊

@@1HavePatience Planting is the best bit! 💚 Roadside nurseries are excellent value but have limited ranges. You can try Asandel Garden Centre in Tetteh Quarshie for fertilizers- they are pricey though. Best value and best ranges I've found were spots in Tema!

@user-dq7xr6kc9b There are a couple of nurseries not too far from me that offer a good range between them. I went with a gardener a few months ago. There was actually a third place that does dwarf fruit trees also.
