"Why we struck" is the first book I read about Nigeria. It is a great book. I was in Secondary sch when I read it. Thanks Tay for this.

Hi..Good morning. I've been searching everywhere for these books 'why we struck' by Adewale Ademoyega and reluctant rebels by by Tola Oyewole but all my efforts were futile. Please could you direct me on how i can access them. I'll greatly appreciate. Thank you.

Nzeogwu should have stayed on his job training soldiers at NMTC and get his promotion to T/Lt.Col in October 66. End of Story.

Good narration as always. You do, however, express a rather tendencious account of the events. How nationalist was the revolution whose military and political casualties were almost exclusively from the northern, western and midwestern regions? Also, if Madiebo's alleged duplicity averted further violence and Nzeogwu's bloodlust, and hamstrung a lop-sided revolution, then he might have actually been the real hero and nationalist.

The narration is presented as written by the author- Major Ademoyega
