I heard that Lou Ferrigno hates what the MCU has done to Hulk. I really think that Hulk is better off by himself without the Avengers.

To my knowledge, Hulk in the comics is really, really powerful, and I feel like the movies nerf him

I think nerf is putting it too lightly, more like turning a god killing machine into a beanie baby that can’t even beat the simplest foe

Its understatement to say hes powerful, one of most powerful. TOBA Hulk is actually most powerful entity in universe (Right bellow God Himself because he is embodiment of God).

This is the first video I've seen discussing the Hulk's astronomical mistreatment in recent years where I agree with pretty much everything you've said. The Hulk (when done properly) is my favorite Marvel character. I love both the 2003 and 2008 Hulk movies for different reasons. I also love the classic TV series that Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno starred in. I personally never got invested deeply in Mark Ruffalo's Banner/Hulk. I think that he was okay in the first Avengers movie, but afterward, he became worse and worse with each proceeding film. There's something about the way he delivers his lines that doesn't really feel like Banner to me. He always feels like he's "outside" of the role, if that makes sense. If anyone tells you that Banner and the Hulk have been treated fairly in the MCU for the last decade, you should most likely dispute their opinion. The way that Marvel and Disney have treated the character for the last decade is pretty much unforgivable. I've heard multiple different theories discuss as to why this is, but regardless of the reason, it astronomically sucks that those of us that are Hulk fans have to be constantly dragged through the mud because of Disney/marvel's incompetence and arrogance.

As far as i'm aware, the Hulkbuster in the comics isn't really made to defeat Hulk at this point Is so Tony has a higher chance of SURVIVING Hulk, and even then, it's not like he comes out unharmed So yeah, the Hulkbuster had no business beating up Hulk like that

Norton Hulk, Ruffalo Hulk, and Blonski could've had a Multiverse of Madness movie... maybe with Thor and Beta Ray Bill? Idk I just think these variants in a team up would be fun. 2008 Hulk being faster, leaping far, and using stealth along with his strength is something MCU needed to use. Like, where was the Immortal Hulk technique? Ripping dudes bodies apart and whooshing out of view before people can do anything. I miss that. 08 Hulk had a scary voice too.

You are not alone in your love for Ang Lee’s Hulk. It is my favorite on screen portrayal so far. Ang and Bana made sure Banner and the HULK were both interesting. Finding a middle ground between Banner and HULk was when I stopped caring. The reader/viewer was ALWAYS the middle ground in HULK’S stories. They took that away from us and in turn made everything less interesting. Marvel: “You know, the guy who struggles internally to keep the beast at bay and sometimes is incapable of doing so and can lead to cataclysmic consequences? Yeah, he doesn’t do that anymore, he’s just a big green guy now, lul.”

That was main plot of Hulk 2008. Bruce was struggling to stay in control so that he wouldn't accidentally destroy the world. When his blood got taken, abomination was born, which reinforces the fact that its almost impossible to control it. In shehulk, all of that fell in water. The guy injects Bruces blood and immediately gets 300kg of muscles...

2 questions 1. What did you think of Hulk’s character and design in the first Avengers movie ? 2. What did you think of Professor Hulk in the comics ?

His portrayal in the first Avengers film was good. I still like Norton's better, but that was still a great, faithful portrayal of Bruce/Hulk. One of my favorites actually. I have to be honest, I don't know what Professor Hulk is like in the comics, so I can't really comment on that. Professor Hulk existing in the MCU is fine, I just wish it was explained how he became Professor Hulk instead of it just happening and we're introduced to it without a proper explanation.

They didn't even use the excuse of the power stone when it came to the Thanos fight. That you could somewhat buy after seeing the way the stone reduced the guardians to ragdolls. But no, he gets his shit kicked in because they wanted to show off Thanos' power, and nothing else. And it's weird because seeing him hulked out in wakanda in the trailer implies this was a very last minute decision, one that can only be speculated on.

Thank you you also understand the reality of the CGI part of 2008 a hulk and endgame hulk. Some of these KZitemrs saying that end game hulk cgi is better than CGI hulk in 2008 and looks completely animated. Bruh😒, WtF are they’re talking about? 2008 hulks CGI looks so much more natural and realistic than the one on endgame. In reality, the endgame hulk looks like a fake animated character even though he does look like Mark, and 2008 hulk looks so natural and realistic, similar to the transformers CGI

I actually quite like Mark Ruffalo, he perfect protrays that intelegent yet awkward and socially isolated character. And those two example scenes used to prove he's been dumbed down (1:58 and 7:27) aren't even the worst examples. In fact, those were actually funny jokes that fit in with the dialogue and characters. But there are definately worse examples of the producers mocking Banner/Hulk.

Dude same i grew up with a Personal Connection to the Incredible Hulk since I was a Kid i also still prefer Norton Much More Than Mark Ruffalo! Hulk has been missed use too much in The Marvel Cinematic Universe/MCU only Movies The Incredible Hulk (2008) "Ed Norton" The Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) After That Thor Ragnarok (2017) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) Avengers 4: Endgame (2019) and Currently She-Hulk! (2022) On Disney+ Streaming Service Hulk has been Nothing But a Joke to the MCU why!? I always said Why???? Seriously The Hulk and Dr. Bruce David Banner Are The Most Greatest Fantastic Characters In The Marvel Universe! Up There With Spider-Man Captain America and Thor Black Panther Black Widow Wolverine Scarlett Witch Doctor Strange and of Course Iron Man! So why is "HULK!!!" Getting so much Shit On Because of It i think it's because of Mr. Kevin Feige himself.....??? Oh wait hulk can't get a Solo Movie because Universal still Owns the Rights to the 2 Films and they don't play well with "Marvel Entertainment" Like Ruffalo said one Time in an Interview back in 2019 at the Premier of Avengers Endgame! Hulk did a Snap but Iron man already beat him to that so Now What? For The Green Goliath??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 Oh yeah Yoga and he's Smart with Glasses 🤓 IFHM&D I Fucking Hate Marvel and Disney!

The reason he was good in avengers and age of ultron is because joss whedon actually cares about the character. Whedon's stuff has always been character driven. The Russo's only write plot driven stories, so they really don't care about character consistency so long as it fits the plot. Whedon > Russo's all day every day

I honestly felt ruffalo was a great hulk in the first two avenger films, unfortunately his personality and portrayal later on in thor ragnarok we saw a few changes, but the nail in coffin for me was him disappearing after getting beat by thanos and coming back as a banner controlled comic relief

Marks Hulk had its moments. Quite a lot of stuff was impressive: stopping giant flying caterpillar aka leviathan, fight with asgard dogs, smashing robots, beating Loki, his will to fight Surtur is honorable... fight with Tony is meh, could pass because its made to stop Hulk (even tho Hulkbuster never defeated Hulk). Ragnarok arena fight is kinda bad but might make an excuse that he held back because they were friends and wouldn't seriously harm each other. But being beaten by Thanos is ridiculous... after that, everything about Hulk became a joke...
