Interesting as always. Most coaches talk about the right hand not dropping and staying high in the forward phase but your emphasis on the right elbow coming across the body might be better.

Hi It's interesting, almost every pro player makes this movement and yet I've never seen it referred to in other coaching videos. Glad your still enjoying my channel, I still have hundreds of ideas to share

@@oneminutetennis oh I'm here for quite a while. You don't see other coaches doing your material because yes it is so unique. I've often wondered about the forehand and my oh my was I talented at getting it so screwed up! The elbow straight back idea is novel for me at least. Then the non dominant hand opening up the chest area so the body's kinetic chain can pull the ball through rotation of the hips. It really was the moment when the light came on! Ever noticed how Alcatraz and Nadal have similar chest injuries? I'm wondering if they are both doing the same thing wrong. They both clobber the ball a ton so hunching it might be a forehand error not sure. Seems more than coincidental though IMO. Great segment Steve just tricky putting these great tips into practice right now with the snow. -16 °C with wind chill. Not quite temperate never mind tropical 🥶
