I can relate. It’s tough not to download and print more kits than you can build. Just like buying kits!! Lol

Thanks very much! There’s much more coming - the next series is an entire kit 3D printed. I’ve been posting some shots of it over on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram as well.

So glad you enjoyed it! In my next video series at the end of the month I will be 3D printing an entire kit. I truly believe this may be part of the future of model building. Thanks for watching!

Awesome video! I recently bought myself an Anycubic Photon M3 for this exact reason, adding more details to my builds to increase the realism level. I'm still struggling with the 3D software, even though I have some experience in the 3D environment, I still lack some skill when it comes to get everything setup for 3D printing. One other reason I wanted to get a 3D printer was to print my own kits, such as cars that are not really available on the premade kits market and I have over 300 GB of 3D files but as I said previously, I'm having a hard time working with the files so that the printer doesn't fail. The most common issue I'm having is the fact that the 3D objects have very thin walls or the meshes are only 1 sided so the printer fails to render them.

I had a lot of luck with the blue window wash fluid for thinning craft paints in the past. Have you ever tried it?

Yes I have and it works ok. Sometimes it makes the paint a little seedy. Thanks for the idea!!!
