@tr3nDmaker
2 жыл бұрын
Although I have a few very tweaked Cura profiles... each for specific situations. For my videos, I always run stock Cura settings, except for setting I adjust in video. This will let the viewer see what they can expect from their printers. That being said... My printer is 100% square, eccentric nuts are properly adjusted, belts adjusted and there is zero slop in x,y and z. Perfect bed level. If you are not getting good results from your printer... 80% time it is because something is loose, too tight or not square. 15% is just too fast. Maybe 5% is a bad setting. In video, I scroll thru my settings. You can copy every line and try it... But, I find, when I use someone else's profile... It just doesn't work that well. Good Luck and let me know how it goes or if you need help on something.

I have seen people using colors and grays before without issue. If going black… you will need to compensate for less light by using much thinner walls. You will likely need to experiment for your filament with thinnest and thickest walls to get optimal results.

Hi there. Great and easy to follow. Just tried my first ever print by following this. Was all going well, until about 1 hour 40 minutes, when it started lifting off the bed? how can I stop this? As I say, first ever print, so have no idea what is causing it, and if it will affect the final print?? Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Thanks
@tr3nDmaker
3 жыл бұрын
Be sure super leveled... Make first layer with Brim .24mm height and about 15mm wide. If you orient print slightly turned, it will reduce the wobble and lifting. If glass... use Elmers purple glue stick. If textured.. be sure super clean bed and lower nozzle a bit more for more bite on bed. Try again... Good luck

@tr3nDmaker
2 жыл бұрын
Yes, most people either download a base off of Thingiverse or make their own. Each base would be different based on size, curve, thickness, and light used. Most 3D printers don't release these as they make money selling a finished product.
