It’s been like 36 years since we started out as a couple and maybe we lived pay check to pay check for the first couple of years. But just like Dave says live with in your means. she was in college and I was a truck driver. I ever new I was working the baby steps until like 8 months ago when I found Dave!we are looking at early retirement, me at 60 and her@58 and it will be well deserved. We joke about that we don’t remember the 90’s because it was head down and nose to the grind stone. And that’s what this new generation will not achieve they need to put the blinders on suck it up and then 20 years later you will be surprised at what you have accomplished!!

Been listening to Dave’s show for some time now. This Calab with kosher money is incredible, eye opening and practical! Love the part where he mentions how consistently is so important! Yet, don’t let one day ruin it for you! Just get back up and continue on.

Very good. Only 15min through the video and I already know that this interview will be to me the same that a bible would be to a real christian or a tora to a jew: a source of inspiration, with a lot wise advices and logical thinking. Very good indeed. Thank you both!

Conversations with Dr Delony include eye-opener pieces of what used to be normal common sense which used to happen naturally and have been replaced with fast hacks. I appreciate hearing that the ways our grandparents used to do things is now academically approved as best practices. Yes, we need to go back to slow and steady. Also, just like he advised to do with a confrontational subject, instead of saying you should... he says I would do this and its so much easier to listen to that and follow. It's such a smart way to give advice, I've been doing that with my kids and I find they listen better.

John can you do a podcast on when a man who is a millionaire falls for you and you make 80k and he feels he can control what you post on Facebook? We really fell for each other and he knew I was conservative. He’s more liberal but we gave it 4 months and all of a sudden started becoming triggered upset about my posts re politics. My ex ran for governor of Montana. I learned a great deal from him. But he died and I moved back to the land of liberalist. California. I know a lot of politics now and I’ve kept an eye on it for the last decade since he died and know more than my boyfriend who is more ideological. He began getting triggered with every single political post until he blew that he was disgusted by me. My online habits are to communicate proof and different ways of thinking about things ideologically. I post often and my friends are conservative. He was expecting to censure me. I didn’t comply but asked him what about these really trigger him and he began gaslighting me in a passive aggressive way. He was just triggered often. I really never ever thought it would make him break it off but that’s what he did. He felt being a biz owner and making millions meant he could control my freedom of expression. None of my posts were caustic but just held a different view. Eventually I could never mind read which post would trigger him and which one wouldn’t. In the beginning he was fine with me knowing what I know and then he just became unglued. In order for him to stay I would have needed to allow him to dictate my posts basically. My Facebook would always be unauthentic and revolve around his sensitivities if we were to remain together. I slowed down my posts but even 1 would make him unglued. I asked for a plan on how he wanted me to manage my fb page. Then he became indignant about I should just know! Well he broke up. Being in SF I’ve run into several men easily triggered by different views. How do I negotiate my freedom of expression with men? Especially the wealthy ones? Wealthy men are always attracted to me. These are middle aged men in 50s and they are so controlling. It’s so hard to find conservative men here. Am I going to have to become a mute in order to date a liberal??

I appreciate everything that you covered in this episode, but I think the discussions around money in the Frum community are missing a crucial element of reality. There are many many MANY Frum people who struggle with money on a very basic level and who go into extreme debt to appear to be living a normal life so that their children will be considered for Shidduchim (when the time comes). Debt is accrued to purchase facny clothing, jewelry, vacations, I-phones, lavish weddings--none of which are essential. Yet, it would be unheard of to not "fit in" in the Frum world. The societal pressure is colossal.

Using the word ecosystem outside of biology is a WEF thing to do. Leave terms used for the natural world to the natural world. Please don't hijack them for other jargon. "Voices in media" conveys the same thing as "media ecosystem"..

My debt has gone down by 35k but my monthly interest payments have gone up by $716 a month because of the money the govt printed to cover poor policies. Yet us jews are blamed... we suffer with everyone else 😢 inflation is a silent tax, its govt theft
