Hi guys, great video, do you coat the casing with anything after they have been blasted to stop corrosion etc? thanks

We use a corrosion inhibitor in the water while blasting to protect the parts without leaving residue or altering the appearance. The parts in this video would look the same without the corrosion inhibitor, it just prevents rust. With the corrosion inhibitor, you can also coat the parts afterward without a problem if you would like. Hope this helps! Also, if you would like to purchase some corrosion inhibitor, our number is 828-202-5563.

Wow 100psi with glass bead? Maybe that’s where I’m Going wrong? I usually start at 60-70psi as I’m afraid of smashing the glass bead

Is there anything you would recommend for coating the parts after they have blasted to maintain the shine?

We have a corrosion inhibitor that we use for ferrous metals to prevent flash rusting before coating. As far as aluminum parts go, like the one seen in this video, they can hold there shine for years. You can also clear coat your part if you would like.
