I’ve always been really skeptical if these channels but I really like you. You don’t try to talk over my head, it feels very genuine, and you seem to really know your stuff. You also have sh*t to back up what you say unlike literally every single ‘finance guru’ on the internet.

Does she? Because how she's telling you to get rich is not how she got rich. She started off saying she's a millionaire and former Wallstreet trader then jumps right into but that's not what you should do. Don't get me wrong, I think a lot of it is good advice, and I do think she knows what she's talking about in general terms but it's not genuine or backed up, cuz again she didn't get rich by following her own advice. Getting rich and staying rich are two very different things, you can't really swap one for the other.
@Andy-wx4yk

You can only become "rich" in monetary world. As soon as "the elites" and "deep state" remove "money" (fiat currency) all those so called "rich people" will be poor. Cause "richness" could only be measured in "money". Those "big families" that "rule" this world are not rich, they are filthy wealthy, "they" don't know what is expensive and cheap, "they" don't use those fiat currencies "they" created for the rest of us...

@@theBestElliephantThis video wasn't really her explaining to us how she got rich. I agree with you but I also have to disagree with you. We need to learn about history so, presumably, we don't keep making the same mistakes. Country still do make the same mistakes even when they know history, but we should never be one dimensional as a person. We should learn a lot of different things just because the human mind can comprehend a lot of different things and get stimulated by a lot of different things. Plus it can make you more interesting to talk to. Being broad-minded is never bad. And algebra is used in a lot of different professions. You need a grounding in a lot of different subjects in high school to enable you to go on to college or graduate school. And once you have that grounding, you may know that you don't like it and so you don't go into those subjects. But if you don't know about it you can't make a choice.

I am a high school math teacher. I cannot for the life of me understand why schools require 4 years of math in order to graduate. (It was 3 years when I was in high school.) I'm the first to tell them that the type of math I use consistently on a daily basis is middle school math (fractions, percents, and proportions). I think of linear and exponential functions too. That will not be the same for everyone and I tell them that bit too. Exposure is great. I studied engineering so I do have an appreciation for the math and for students who want to do something in STEM, it is encouraged that you take 4 years of math. Instead of 4 years, one of those years should require Personal Finance. It's an elective at my school and I encourage the freshmen that I teach to take that class before they leave. I encourage my upperclassmen to take it as well if they have room in their schedules, if not, in college.

Something I think I should be added, routinely reassess what you're spending. I realized recently that my garbage pickup is twice a week and I barely put it out in the second day of the week, they offer once-a-week pickup so I changed the service reducing that expense. I also spent about an hour-and-a-half comparing many different retailers online for items I buy often, it's saved me time running around and trying to figure it out. And in the end it's going to save me money
