Did not read all the comments, in case this hasn't been answered. The tool is called a "Seam ripper" sewers use them all the time. Keep up the great work.

Awesome ! Just two quick questions. Do you count the holes on the main part, and punch the same amount of holes in your gusset, to match up? You don’t glue/stick the gusset before stitching?

Thank you very much!!! Yes, I count stitches, and punched the exact number of holes on the gusset, no glue needed!!!
