Thank you. This is great. If an update is made to the sharepoint page does it provide team members in the channel with a notification?

Hi Marti, thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, if an update is made to the SharePoint page it will not throw a notification in the channel. When you add the page, it is really just providing a window into the SharePoint site (there isn't really any other integrated capability) aside from being able to easily access the content. Thanks

I am creating teams channel for @200 users non-computer types. Teams is something new to them. Me too really. Membership is constantly changing due to promotions and retirements. This teams page is a place for the users to ask questions about the dashboards that are developed for their use in Tableau. A place for them to post, "How can I get this report? Or "How can I get this data to show...?" In the group of members are the dashboard creators and power users. Those are the folks that will answer their questions. I will use the Wiki tab to create a Knowledge Base from those questions and answers. What I want to do is craft a landing page that describes the purpose of the team channel and how they can use it. Any advice?

Hi there, apologies for the delay in responding. I would recommend creating a landing page in SharePoint Online that includes apps such as a "Discussion Board" and potentially a "News Web Part". The discussion board app, can actually be used to facilitate Q&A where you can mark a response as the best response. The "News Web Part" can be used to publish updates, announcements etc. I have tutorials outlining how to do both of these things. Once the page is complete, you can add it as a tab to Teams as outlined in this video. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching.
