Welcome to the BDRSuite How-to Series! In this video, we will guide you through the process of adding a PostgreSQL Database Server on Linux as a backup data source
Steps Covered:
1. Log in to the BDRSuite Backup Server console. Navigate to Applications & DBs menu.
2. Go to the 'Data Sources - PostgreSQL Database Server - Linux' menu.
3. Download and Install the BDRSuite Backup Agent on each machine from which you plan to backup the databases
4. Upon successful installation, backup agent automatically connects the target host to the backup server and is listed as a Data Source for backup
5. You can then configure database-level backup and protect the databases.
