Awesome! First tutorial I've seen that used slipper soles instead of flip flops. Duh... didn't think of that. 👍😉

Thanks for the tutorial. One of my favorites showing how to add soles to crocheted slippers. Three things I especially like are: The use of slipper sole with soft fabric insole; how you showed how to put dots on your hand to use as guide to evenly mark the soles; the use of the loom needle to prep with holes. I also like the tip on making sure you start with enough yarn. The close up and explanation on how to sew in foundation for crochet. Love the finished slipper. I read in comment section you free handed that - love that!

I did find it useful thank you. I'm trying to watch as many of these as possible. I like your choice of slipper too instead of ordering over priced souls online. I totally forgot about the finger marking for space, so thank you for that! I'm def going to search for that loom knit hook too.. It's awesome! If you would show a tutorial on how to crochet those converse sneaker slippers???!! Man, I'd sub right away. The best pattern I found.. It was not in English 😪😩 tfs

Thank you so much Trina! I really appreciate your help!! Do you think maybe you could do a whole slipper tutorial sometime? I know without a doubt that you would be helping so many of us! I always read messages from ppl looking for an adult slipper video. All the cute ones are for babies. It's even hard to find children's slippers and these would surely be a hit!! Especially for those of us who are visual learners and there are lots of us in the crochet world! Beginners alike. Thanks again! Have a wonderfully blessed And a Merry Christmas!

There is a washable fabric marker. you can use it on your project and it fades or if you wash the slippers it washes off.

a suggestion is to make the slipper sewn to the binding around the fuzzy part instead of the foam/rubber sole.

I just sew mine right on to the shoe. But hubby drills holes for me. Because I use old shoes that the top is worn out. With good soles. But mine I make into outside boots.

This sole is brilliant! I've made tons of different kinds of slippers and ultimately, the sole gets damaged. But, with this flip flop sole, it is almost impossible for them to get damaged. So now, I will not make slippers unless it's a flip flop sole. Waste of time otherwise

When you start the crochet method, do you just crochet all the way around and build it up from there?
