Have you ever been asked to "describe your work ethic" in an interview? Put differently, a hiring manager might ask "what's the hardest you've ever worked?" or "describe a time when you were proud of how hard you worked on a project."
Here is some guidance on how to approach this question:
➡️ There's no wrong answer. You'll want to identify a specific example that demonstrates your work ethic and dedication.
➡️ Think about a time when you (or your team) had to work exceptionally hard to achieve a goal or meet a deadline.
➡️ Your example could be a project you worked on, a difficult task you had to complete, or a time when you had to work long hours.
PSA - I don't personally love this question as an interviewer. This is not always the case, but it could potentially be a red flag about the company's culture being a grind. Regardless, it's a common one so I wanted to share some advice!
