Great video! Many thanks and i have one question...for a Data Science Masters student who is about to attend his first placement interview with a tech company, i feel lost relating to the Present, Past, Mission and Future structure, especially as i have not had any professional experience in that field. Background: No professional work experience but volunteering in care while in college and after college. After college, proceeded to straight to Masters. Please advice for new starters like me. Thanks Masha! Your New subscriber!

I'm stressing about how to answer the question of why I left my last job. No way would I go into the details about how my manager was a backstabbing, passive-agressive little witch who micro-managed and thought I was out to get her job because I showed too much enthusiasm about the processes and wondered why I had to master everything (why wouldn't I try to master everything?!) I don't know how to say that in a positive way. I was thinking of maybe framing it as me feeling that my development was being stunted. Help! How do you tell the truth without telling the whole truth?

I’m sorry you have experienced that, I really hope that this will not be the case in your next job! I would simply say that your previous work environment wasn’t optimal for your learning and growth potential, so you’ve decided to look for opportunities that will help you grow. If it was super toxic, you could also mention that you were dealing a toxic environment and decided that it was better for you to move on

Thank you ❤️ I used to answer this question in order past - present -future, but your order much more better! It shows that you don't stuck in the past, and understand exactly who you are now
