Hello. I had a question regarding filling out a Canadian (Citizenship Certificate Replacement) application I was hoping you could please help me with. When a section doesn’t apply to you (say you answered no and/or it says to skip the section), I assume you can leave those spaces blank. Is this correct? And you would only put “NA” on the sections you need to answer (that is, you cannot skip because say you answered yes) but don’t apply to you? Hope the question was clear. Thank you for your help.

Hi Sophie. You are correct. Skip the ones that don't apply and you've marked no. And n/a for sections that require an answer. All the best with your application 👍

Thank you so much for the reply! I have a couple more that I’m hoping you can also help me with. For my particular application I have to send in a scanned color copy of two pieces of ID. Is there any specs I need to follow (true to size, enlarged) or so long as those are clear? Lastly, this is for my mother who was not born in Canada but does not have a copy of her birth certificate. Do I need to submit a declaration then? I’m sorry so many questions but I cannot express how much I appreciate it as it’s been near impossible to get any clarifications from official Canada help lines. Thank you again!
