What in the heck?! Our holes were not drilled correctly and we don’t have the long screws. AND if you’re making an instruction video don’t jerk the camera around trying to be arty farty🤦♀️

Building my first bc18 cabinet right now and I'm just going to say that half of the screws being used are missing from package. Not ideal at all. Can't even finish the first cabinet

The cabinet went together fine… glue is optional but the dovetails were tight. The paper directions are fair at best The step the video and written instructions do not address is installing drawer rail holders on the bottom front of the drawers. They don’t magically snap in like shown on the video

The video is a bit informative as the paper instructions aren’t that great. However, things have changed since this video. Also, the shakiness of the camera almost makes it on watchable.

Good and informative but tidy up the cinematography. Something from CTGo like this needs to be a LOT less jerky.

cabinets are built very poorly. nothing aligns properly. screws missing, contacted twice for replacements, both times incorrectly milled.

In some versions of this, you must attach the face of the drawer to the front of the drawer box *before* you use the mallet to attach the sides. Once in place, the sides will hide the pre-drilled screw holes used to attach the face to the front of the drawer box.

Good, except for the camera-person; WOW. Watching the video, 'shaky jake' was making me nauseous.

The shaky camera was obnoxious. There must be additional screws attached to the bottom of the drawers right?

agreed that they didn't show how to assemble the clips to the front of the drawer, I can't figure out how they seat and was disappointed this video didn't show how they are fastened, hopefully the next video on my search will be better than this one!

I started assembling my cabinets yesterday. This video is helpful. But be aware there have been changes that cabinets to go should correct in their video, ARE YOU LISTENING CABINETS TO GO? The drawer fronts attach a little differently. The screws that attach the drawer fronts are now hidden by the dovetails, so you need to attach the drawer fronts FIRST, This has been corrected in the instructions. The drawer glides are no longer attached to the cabinet backs with a plastic bracket, it is now metal. No instructions about this change except an illustration. When I called their support number the "technician" had not a clue. Asked me to send him pictures so he would know what I was talking about. I finally found a KZitem video of the new drawer slides and sent it to him. Hopefully he will educate himself The cabinets are very good quality and in my case at 72 years old and working alone the best alternative to be able to carry the individual pieces in to assemble. I am a retired cabinet installer and YES use wood glue! Make sure you fit everything thoroughly. The new adhesives are amazing and you don't want to screw up.

Definitely use glue. Drawer fell apart. Incorrect screws to boot. Pilot holes don't line up with drawer bottom.

We just attempted to put a 18 inch three drawer base cabinet together today. It took us at least 2 hours. The middle drawer does not line up it’s very obvious looking at the cabinet it is crooked. Any thoughts on how to fix it?

I see you are not using glue. Do you at all recommend using glue for joints for extra support?

They do not mention glue at all. BUT YES, USE GLUE TOO!

@samyosoy I ended up not using glue for my cabinets. Bonus of not using glue especially for the front panel is that I can easily remove the front panel in case of a damage and replace it with a new panel. Had I used glue that process would have become quite a bit more difficult.

@@santillanmusic Mine are holding up great! I also did have to replace the front panel on two cabinets. Not using glue allowed me to do that easily. These are great cabinets, I have no complaints about them.

@@santillanmusic they are easy to assemble yourself, and they are fairly easy to hang as well if you know what you are doing. In my case I paid a handyman who .... without consulting with me hung 3 of the cabinets upside down, as well as made a number of other errors. I ended up taking them down and rehanging them myself. I hope you have a better experience! I chose not to hire the real pros (carpenters or cabinet makers) because they were fairly expensive, i.e. $1800 to assemble and hang my cabinets, which may be worth it to some, to avoid my original handyman experience. Also, depending on which countertop you go with, look into build-up strips. Those are planks that go under the countertop, raising the countertop in the process. I used laminate countertop on mine from Menards, which I also ended up fitting myself, because the handyman kept messing things up . ... If I had to do things over again I would 1) assemble cabinets myself - easy and rewarding, 2) hang cabinets myself - cheap & in my case much better than the handyman I hired., 3) NOT install the countertop, I would pay someone else to build and/or install the countertop, for it is a really tricky business full of opportunities to mess up - in the case of laminate it's gluing, aligning, cutting out holes, gluing side strips, etc, it is a BIG pain.
