Hi, Thanks for the video. I bought this unit from auction and came without instructions. I thank you and the youtube gods. Had a few screws left though :)

Thanks very much for going to the effort of making this video. It's useful to know how much effort this is going to be.

I would recommend Keter but they need to watch quality control. Very good quality materials and fit / finish excellent. I purchased two - one (the first I opened !) had no instructions. It took me two hours to assemble, the second one 40 minutes. One box had some screws missing, the other box had extras. Definitely need a cordless screwdriver, I had blisters on my hand after the first hour before I got mine out.

Great video, bought two of these yesterday and managed to get one assembled so far. I’ve followed the instructions to the letter but those two bits that you say are “fiddly” to put on, are a dreadful fit on mine and didn’t go on properly at all, in fact the left side one has split when I put it on. Rest of the box goes in as expected but those two big black plastic bits either side are a nightmare

Hi Mark, sorry to hear you had dramas with those two big plastic bits too - nightmare indeed and hope you've managed to get the left side split one replaced?

Thanks for the video. We just put it together ok but the two lid pieces don’t seem to be flush on the top which is a bit concerning. Any idea why the plastic bows and twists?

Same issue here. Just spent several hours putting the thing together and am disappointed with the wrapping on the lid.

We had to make sure the ground was super level and not fully tighten one screw at a time, but rather turn one a little bit, then another a little bit, etc until all screws tightened. Was a bit fiddly to be fair! That said, was it level out of the box - maybe an issue during its production/transportation to you?

Hi, thanks for the Video. Just curious to know, how have you fixed the Keter box to the ground? What kind of fundament and/or screws did you use?
@beingbeta9883

We haven't fixed it to the ground as it is in a sheltered location and weighed down with the kit we're storing in it. If I was to fix it to the ground I would use large bolts into concrete or a wooden base through the floor of the box...let me know how you get on!

Hi, are you able to measure the exact dimensions of the floor inside it? I would be grateful for the info. Thanks in advance!

I have just bought 2 x of these, 1 for the bikes & 1 x for the lawnmower (No shed or garage) so assembly is my weekend job! Thanks for the smashing video - oh, by the way - what video camera were you using - apart from the wind noise on the mic, the images were crystal clear!

Question, is your roof slightly raised where the middle hinge is? Ours seems slightly raised... I think yours looks the same...?
@beingbeta9883

It does sit a little raised, but then shuts fairly flush once we've locked it.

Thanks! How big is the packaging altogether please? Do you know? I need to pick this up where I live, they don't deliver, and I want to work out if it fits in the car.

It was a large pack to be fair and arrived on a pallet - so either a van or arranging a courier could be worthwhile

How is longevity on this product and waterproof?
@beingbeta9883

It's been great water resistance-wise - no rusting on any bikes inside (despite the wet British weather!) It's held up well given the wind and rain to be fair - but we have noticed some green marks on the front of it caused by damp outside. Nothing that hasn't scrubbed off with a bit of elbow grease though!

Can you add shelving?
@beingbeta9883
2 жыл бұрын
We probably could if we did it ourselves - but I'd worry about water coming in - so maybe popping a ready-made shelving unit in might be a way round this?

Just bought this and it’s big and heavy you will need a big car or van to collect it I got it in my Picasso but had to tie the boot down

If you do outdoor videos for products. 1) get a muff for your microphone (hard to actually hear what you're saying); 2) put your phone on a tripod . Thanks for trying though.
