Here's a helpful tip when picking out vitamin E, look on the label, you'll notice a (d) or (dl) somewhere on there, the (dl) is the synthetic kind, you don't want that one, get the one with just the (d) alone. 😊 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. Let's be health conscious, and also, be busy about our Father's business.

I had a serious symptomatic hemmorhagic stroke a bit over two years ago. I thought it was serious food poisoning so didn't call for medical help for two days and nights of vomiting, dry-heaving and inability to move without the vomiting. After a week in intensive care, I made dramatic changes to a lifetime of horrible food choices. Gone or dramatically lowered were: sugar, vegetable oils, processed foods, fruit juice, and carbs. Since doing this, and without medication of any kind, my once fatty liver is now normal, I have not been ill in any way, sky-high blood pressure normalized, sleep apnea is gone, lifetime allergies are gone, aches and pains gone, energy and steady moods are back and life is far better. I used to get up six to eight times a night to urinate in tiny streams and now it's maybe twice in a flow like when I was young. I sleep normal hours and deeply instead of fragmented and light. I went to a high fat (saturated)/low carb diet and haven't ever looked back or been tempted to change back. Also intermittent fasting is now a regular part of my life.

Dr. Berry experienced just this. His whole keto talk was about the medical board trying to strip his license by falsely accusing him of small things just because he goes against the standard of care.

I had a stroke in December, 2018. I thought I was healthy because I was already doing IF since February 2018, and had lost 50 lbs. But was still eating carbs, and sometimes sugar. Not as much as in the past, but I believe all the years of eating absurd amounts of sugar, plus being on birth control, is what caused it. I am so fortunate not to have any major residual damage. Just a difference in perception with some of my sensory systems. In April of this year, I started keto to address auto-immune symptoms - also something new I was diagnosed with at the hospital. Again, I blame sugar, processed foods, and all this man-made poison that is sold to us as food. I have been mostly keto-carnivore. Feeling healthy, and still losing weight. When I consume carbs, I feel horrible. But I always get back to keto, and almost immediately feel better again. Thank goodness for all of the keto advocates and all the information they provide us for free. Thank you, Dr. Berg!

My husband and I take a capsule daily and the one you make only have what you put in it, so no fillers or preservatives. This is just a personal take. There is also another aspect. A lot, but really a lot of people, even when given the right information, will never renounce their donuts and beer. The right, free information and the simplicity of putting it in practice go against a certain feeling of "I am so special now that I have diabetes, COPD, et. all". My Dad died from a hemorrhagic stroke. Is that considered a silent stroke? He had high blood pressure for years and was on HBP meds, he took vitamin E, garlic, selenium, potassium, calcium etc. He’d read Prevention magazine and when he learned of something that might help him, he took note and picked those vitamins up. He had really bad varicose veins in his legs. Thankfully, I didn’t inherit them. I can’t bring my Dad back, but I can try to be healthier than he was. I have been on the Keto diet since March of this year. I’ve lost 18 lbs so far and would like to lose another 13 lbs. I have been checking my blood pressure, because I am on HBP meds like my Dad was. My blood pressure is now normal! I should have been doing this with my Doctor’s permission, because it’s been looking really good and I stopped taking my meds 3 days ago, but I’m carefully watching my blood pressure readings. I know that I shouldn’t have done that without my doctor’s knowledge, but I was afraid that it would go too low. I’m making an appointment, because it’s time to see her.

Sometimes you can't prevent it, it's purely genetic...I was fit and healthy never smoked , had a stroke but fortunately recovered except for a few short term memory problems

Stop this insanity strokes are not ‘genetic’ maybe the terrible habits that lead to them are just carried on and throughout your family without any intervention or anyone saying ‘no more’.

Warfarin/Coumadin dose does get affected by the vitamin K in green leafy vegetables, but as long as you consistently eat the same amount of it, you are allowed to eat it. If you regularly eat green leafy vegetables your warfarinndose might be slightly higher than if you do not, but you will get a lot of benefits from eating green leafy vegetables.

" Why not just eat garlic"😂😂 Make your own black garlic!! Heat up cloves in a rice cooker for a few weeks. It has a much higher content of allicin, the active ingredient that is beneficial. The texture is like gummy candy, minimal garlic flavor. You will not stink like garlic 👍!

@@saracruze2212 The black garlic stores great in glass jars. It does not have to be refrigerated. We use a rice cooker, warm setting but you can also use a crock pot, warm setting. We picked up a rice cooker at a thrift store to use for our black garlic only and ordered a circular wire rack that fits down in it off Amazon. Since you are running the rice cooker/crock pot nonstop for weeks until it is done, the risk of blowing up the motor is high so we just buy used ones cheap. The smell of garlic for the first week or two can get powerful and then it slowly goes away. We process ours in our garage 👍. Have fun, it tastes great.

If you have high cholesterol and your leg or hands goes numb then you should try honey and turmeric. I can guarantee it will be gone in 4 to 6 weeks however men should take small chopped garlic alternatively. 1 turmeric 2 garlic 3 garlic 4 turmeric 5 garlic 6 00000 7 garlic

It's all well and good all these tips but impossible to maintain and do. Take this, do that and do this again and eat that .... Blablabla and again Blablabla..... To be in good health there is only one method ... Eat and drink everything, but not too much and not too little, and walk a lot (a gentle exercise for everyone). Maintain balance in all things. This is the key.

Hey Dr. Berg, would taking BHB Exogenous Ketone Supplements AFTER having a silent stroke help heal your arteries? (or course I've cut out most carbs... the only carb I eat is rice & that's only once every week or two when I eat beans.) And if so, do you know about how long it takes to have an effect?
