Transcription: What is up guys? Andres here, and today I'm gonna show you a trick I use to deal with blisters when I get one in a game or practice.
We've all been there, you're in a game or team practice and you suddenly feel an uncomfortable hotspot right above your heel or some other part of your foot. If you keep playing, that hotspot will turn into a nasty blister and you don't want that.
As soon as you feel a hotspot, get subbed off and go to the sideline. What you're gonna do is take out some sports tape. Make sure the area where your hotspot is on, on the skin isn't sweaty so that the tape can stick good. Wipe it off with your sock if you need to. Get a piece of tape big enough to cover the entire hotspot, put it on so that the tape goes on smooth. Rub it a little to make sure it sticks, then you're gonna take a second piece of tape, this time it's gonna be a little longer than the first piece of tape you put on. Put it on smooth again, you can also use a third just to make sure your shoe doesn't rub hard against your skin. That should be good enough. Put your sock on carefully so that you don't remove the tape. You're good to go.
If the hotspot already turned into a blister and the blister already popped, what you can do is apply a band-aid big enough to cover the entire area and then put some sports tape on it. I hope this tip was helpful, until next time.
