amazing video as always Caro 💗 everything that you mentioned, are things I try to do also (although sometimes I forget or fall out of the habit.) One thing I've been doing recently is try to pray before I start painting. It helps to center me, reminds me why I'm here/what my intentions are, and connects me more with source/guidance. Peace and love 💗

I enjoy meditation too, and would love to be able to go to the forest several times a week one day. I have a 3 year old, which makes my time for art less, but she inspires me so much, and she is so creative, I feel I can make the most of my time because of her. 😊 I hope you always love your life, and I hope to be able to meet you someday

As for the creative practices, it pretty much aligned with what you’ve said here! I love cooking and see it as an art practice. Looking for new recipes and trying new combinations. I really love exploring worlds recipes. Also recently I started watching anime again, to fuel my inner teenager haha) It is not very mindful but it connects to some part of me. Hi! Thank you so much for sharing this video Caro! Your videos really help to remind me of what is important and really emphasis the beauty of these practices in tapping into the creative energy. For me, plant medicines, yoga, meditation, mantra and nature have all been so crucial in my ability to create whether it be painting or my other love of music making. One of the things I have discovered these past few years that has inspired me massively has been breath work... things like Rebirthing and Holotropic. For me these breath work practices have been very visual and shamanic in their vibe. Slowly over time I see a story evolving and I find that space incredibly inspiring. Very similar to psychedelics. Thank you again for sharing a piece of yourself

So any practices that invite me deeper to truer and yet unseen parts of my heart fuel my creativity in the end. Once i know, i cannot unknow. And then there is only one thing left: to make art again and again. Some of the practices that i've taken up inspired by others include having musical instruments accessible nearby, as you mentioned. That's a big one for me.

Such an informative video. I've felt very stuck creatively, my mum passed in September & painting just wasn't working, so I started to work with air dry clay. I collected leaves from the woods near me & made imprints & then painted with acrylics. I love it, the process of harvesting the leaves, working with the clay & then patience waiting for it to dry, not my strong point! It's really helped me & eased & slowed me down. I also have quiet time every morning & have the same herbal oracle deck, I pull a card every morning & it sets my energy for the day. Sorry this is long 🥺 thank you for your beautiful videos 🙏

I want to start incorporating my community into my art. I think it can be done by using my work to talk more about social issues that need to be addressed, especially the struggles and issues in my city. Also I'm wanting to collaborate with other artists more often and see how our styles can come together. I think pursuing all these ideas will leave a lot of room for creativity to manifest ✌🏼
