If you could pick up BKK as a sponsor.. hooks are great. Berkley does the most with Herring styles & colors, they would have to be the most beneficial for us savanna river guys. GLoomis is amazing but another killer company is Dobyns and you would probably find some open ears at Duckett because they chase alot of Herring styles pretty dang hard! Keep grinding man, great stuff that is really local 🧃

Ive got a few of the bull shads which are 80+ and I have yet to catch any on it mostly because I won't commit to it those gilded baits have me hooked

I gotcha. Honestly I’ve tried the bull shads and they are ok. The finish on them is not the best and the action is for very unique times of the year and applications. They catch fish for sure though! I hear you there the swimbait deal has to be a hard commit most of the time to be successful.

Thank you! It’s Hammonds Fishing. Those swimbaits are tough to get though. They sell out quickly.

depends on the swimbait as a few of them are local companies and one doesn't even have a website. if you are interested in a specific swimbait let me know which one and ill do my best to provide the information necessary to purchase it.

My tail gets caught on the sweet bait and fouls up
@campetro10

hmm thats a bummer. what is it getting caught on the hook? i would try switching your hook brand or hook size on the back hook to eliminate that. OR put on a new tail that is a slightly different length

I have not! what is different about the Greenfish Sashimmy compared to a regular Spro Sashimmy Shad out of the package??

QQ. Does it matter if I use a split ring versus a snap?
@campetro10

I wouldn’t say so as long as the bait has the freedom to move either should work. I use both. doesn’t seem to make a difference
