Wow, just watching your short and crisp instructions on the A and B skips made me understand, for the first time in my life, what their purpose is and how they relate to that amazing stride runners like yourself have. Thank you! I will try to practice these to see if I can start running more efficiently (and gracefully 😅).

52 y.o newbie runner-- can run mi 6:15 and half marathon 7:40ish pace... how often to do these and similar drills (A B C skips) ?? done in warm up? before or in conjunction w tempo or interval runs? none of these times are world beating but hey for soccer dad im happy w VO2 max greater than my age. ;)

Warm-ups usually employ certain aspects of movement mechanics relevant to the actual sport in open play. May I know how the B skip mechanics is related to the actual running? If I were to guess it is the part where we need to perform leg extension with the goal of increasing stride length. Am I correct in this assumption?

Hi Chari, looking your videos a lot as they help me improve my form and hopefully, my parkrun time. Someone commented on my running today saying that it was "quiet" in comparison to the stepping noise of other runners. I was wondering if that is a good indication that my running form is right... Or not?
