This is a great breakdown! Hopefully I can transfer these tips to inlines. I don’t have aggressive skates but I’ve been able to do a frontside stall then 180 jump off. So thanks!

Hi! I have a question for you guys. So basically I’m learning how to stall. I can pretty much frontward stall BUT I’m having a little trouble with stalling on a half pipe because after I try to roll back down after stalling I loose my balance if that makes sense. Its kind of hard to explain, sorry! I wasn’t sure how to fix this so I thought I would ask you guys. Also, whenever I’m pupping/ trying to get enough speed to stall I accidentally backside stall and its kinda scary lol, I’m just wondering if there is a way to prevent this too.

It sounds like the issue might be rolling/pumping fakie (backwards), if you are almost stalling fakie that's not a bad thing just something to get used to with practice! It helps to think of leading with your butt when pumping fakie, this video explains more: kzitem.info/news/bejne/2mmosmZshXOUh4o

@@KevJaz thank you so much! I wanted to learn how to fakie stall at some point but whenever I try and frontward stall (when I’m pumping) I end up doing a bs stall without trying which is kinda annoying considering im not trying to learn it just yet haha

Halp I can’t get passed doing the 180 and landing one foot on the coping and one foot on toe stop on the deck D:

I did that too for a long time! What helped me was stepping the toe stop foot on to coping after landing and practicing that over and over until it was faster and smoother until eventually both landed on coping. It took me lots of time and repetition, you can get it! 🤗
