Don't forget to preheat your oven to 180 degrees (C) before baking. At least 10 min before.
Baking time is 45 min. For this cake I used a silicone cake mould 10 cm x 22 cm.
Ingredients for pastry
eggs 2
medium carrot 1
wheat flour 160 gr (1 cup) + a pinch of salt
baking powder 8 g
sunflower oil 100 ml
brown (or white sugar) 80 g (1/2 cup)
cinnamon 1 teaspoon
a little bit of raisins and nuts
a little bit of butter to grease a mould
Let the cake cool on the table before placing cream frosting!
To make a carrot cake from a carrot bread you need a cream:
Ingredients for a cream
mascarpone 150 g (or cream cheese)
Greek yougurt 150 g
vanilla sugar 16 g (2 teaspoons or 2 sachets)
Leave the cake for 1 or 2 hours in the refrigerator - to absorb the cream.
