Listing it tough for me. I have to force myself periods of pushing hundreds of items out and periods where I may get five things listed. Scheduled listings has become my friend. I am learning in my forties that while I often felt so behind working and grinding away, it is combining with my wisdom and emotional maturity well now😂

Great point about being willing to do what they won’t do. I started picking things I’d never done before and also ship every single day - even weekends - much of my feedback is about the item arriving quickly. Good luck to you!

Gift buyers will follow sellers with consistently fast and safe shipping! Funny but true. Just a year ago I was questioning if I was doing things right simply because other resellers did things differently. I decided instead of trying to follow them, I’d just carve my own path and I feel it has made it all more rewarding.

That is so true, so many YT resellers say your lowest ROI should be $25. When I started back on reselling I needed money, so I decided to incorporate auctions with my lowest ROI being 10 bucks. And thank goodness, because I get good sell.

I have my favorites and the are less hype and more hustle. The reality is, I didn’t know KZitem resellers existed until three years ago, so I went fifteen years doing fine part-time with no advice, and before comps and Google images, even before having a smartphone, or anything like that. I just forced myself to learn. I think my biggest pet peeve is when it is made to seem easy as a full time reseller, it is not the hardest thing but it is more challenging than running many businesses. I hope to slowly show how to build and sustain it with low resources and hard work.

I am actually an ex reseller and a charity shopper. One thing that annoys me about resellers who take so much from charity shops is gone are the days for me as a shopper in the charity stores where i can get anything nice for myself. The reseller swarm the place and take trolly’s full of stuff. Im all for making a living reselling, but source your product from Yard sales, auctions and curb side and leave some good stuff for people like me who literally go there to buy something they usually cannot afford…GRRRRR
@9TNS-28
24 күн бұрын
I understand, however the only “nonprofit/charity” shop in my area that I shop at is Goodwill and their charity is training primarily their own employees, which is then written off on taxes. They make a huge portion of their earning from resellers. So, I have no qualms. As someone who has lived at the poverty line most of my life, I bought a lot more for myself at yard sales. I source everywhere and still was at the poverty line last year. While it is growing it requires an enormous amount of work. Plus, once you see how much of our usable goods are trashed and dumped in third world countries, it becomes “whoever shows up first gets it first” mentality.
@Angeliccooke

@@9TNS-28 No you missed my point. I said People who go to charity shops like myself who used to be able to get something we usually cannot afford can no longer find things to buy at charity shops because they are swarming with resellers and the resellers take all the good things and leave the trash. Its hard to find nice things in charity shops these days. That has nothing to do with what profits charity shops are making. I could not give a hoot about that. Two entirely different things. There are allot of other ways you can source your products.

@@Angeliccooke I am not sure where you are located but there is plenty here to go around. Like the cart I had full, end of the video I put 2/3rds of it back. All good items, just not enough profit after fees and shipping and equating the hours involved. I recommend people who really need something, myself included, for low costs get there early or go to yard sales themselves. They can save far more money now they over price most used items and thrift stores. But, online reselling isn’t going to go anywhere. To the point that most charities are creating their own online platforms and selling the best items. My point is I do far more good for others and myself than I could do working two full time jobs at $12.00/hr before taxes and I cannot afford to stop doing what I am doing so someone can get a name brand shirt they wanted but didn’t hustle to get.

There will be little need for coders soon, they are training AI to do it at insane speeds. I am going in for psychology. I am autistic and my life has been sorting out psychology and am also working on coaching credentials. Reselling for me works because I can do it on my own schedule without a lot of social interactions and my pattern recognition helps me memorize values and patterns in trends. I wanted to make videos so I could possibly help people who need additional income the way I have most of my life find a way to it, to occasionally discuss important topics, and to push myself to do something I was terrified to do. I highly respect you and appreciate you for your apology. It is rare in this world. Thank you!

@@9TNS-28 oh yeah- i did not think about AI with coders but yeah AI will take over a lot- i also think there will be a division in society - with the followers of status quo and those wanting to not have crap food and chips in our heads- i think there are better ways to heal like massage and acupuncture and things like Louise Hay! i do think talking to counselors is good but the amount of school and the money to get that kind of degree is just a waste of money- in my opinion - i am a massage therapist - also have a degree in advertising from MSU-i stopped massaging when covid hit! big pharma is a huge reason for all of the destruction- that is why i created my product - i do think talking to people is good but there is an impact of listening to peoples shit all day that can be detrimental to yourself- the true healing can only come from within each of us and the ability to shift our own behavior cuz no one can do that for you! hopefully you will just get an amazing following on youtube and make a ton of money because your story is helping others! Your honesty and integrity shines through and watching your video made me realize what an idiot i was to not watch- just been disenchanted with people lately but a great thing did happen! i found your channel!

I think talking to counselors is awesome but the amount of schooling fir that kind of degree - i think is a waste of time and money- you can be a counselor- pay way less and all the knowledge is out there to be had- that is just my opinion- i have a BA from Michigan State and i am a massage therapist - i created my product because big pharma wants us all sick and taking a pill- listening to peoples issues all day takes a toll on your own health - i know some therapist who had to get out! I am more into accupuncture, massage, and things like Louise Hay! I think your youtube channel will blow up- you are extremely genuine and that is rare- i never leave messages like that- the reason seems clear to me now- to see that there are genuine people still out there! been dis enchanted lately- my mom is mentally ill- it's covert- she ruined all my close relationships with family- i have forgiven her but the pain is always there cuz being mad at mental illness gets you no where!! i attracted friends like my mom who use me cuz that is the energy you attract after growing up like that! Trust does not come easy fir me anymore! Glad i found your channel- i actually was so drawn in by your story- keep telling it- it is just amazing!
