Honestly, I'm guilty of not asking questions and wait for others to ask them. I fear to look stupid because I didn't know the answer. Always uplifting and well-edited videos. Hope to always be a life learner.

I think active listening has been one of the best improvements for me learning wise. I also have found myself improving all my relationships and have made friends that in some ways are very different than me, and still we have great connection. Loved this video! I like the variety of this shorter format and I also like the longer and more informative videos

This video was so relevant what to what i've been trying to do this year; which is to learn more. A few months ago I realized how much empty space I keep filling with meaningless things that aren't widening my perspective or aiding me in reaching my goals. I've been working to be a lifelong learner by filling my empty space with books, podcasts, journalling, writing, and watching finding great content creators like you ^^ thank you for this video!

I love the shorter videos! I am a med student, so sometimes studying anything besides what seems like I have to learn it is very tough. I try to keep reading books. They don't need to be grant novels every time, just something but my study books and I try to remember that I study because I want to learn and not because I have to pass the exam

I have always loved learning! Now that I'm out of school and working full time, I'm constantly looking for new ways to learn. I read books and listen to podcasts related to my profession as well as faith and leadership. But one of my favorite ways to learn is from other people! Picking their brain about certain things, asking them questions, and watching how they do things. I love watching KZitem videos to learn as well! :)

on a serious note this is something i really needed to hear ( about everything unused is lost , i am told im really good at art and im pretty advanced as a student but lately i haven't been motivated to do it , not that it's not a passion but more of a laziness thing and made up excuses ) so thank you so much for this video !!

GIRL YES. After abandoning so many things that made me happy, I finally feel like I'm breaking those barriers and getting back into them. I want to start learning avbd growing my talents again, it feels so good! And you speak so much truth. You cannot grow or learn without asking questions and making mistakes. You will never know everything, there will always be something to learn, and once you accept that it's much easier to shed the fears of looking silly. And anyone who tells you they know it all, is covering their own insecurities and unhappiness. These people need love and compassion, but if their attitude becomes toxic walk away! Anyone who laughs or puts down your attempts to learn and grow does not deserve to be in your life. Thanks again for another video!love this format, love you having a variety of longer and shorter videos 💜 Totally gonna check out skillshare! 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌 🙌

Rowena, this video you made was great! I like it and will share it with others, and has so much of what I believe. Then you brought up to the plate Simon Sinek, he is rad! What I think is important is something you mentioned. That is, not to force an answer, but get space and time to allow the solution to fall into you by getting into one of your favorite spaces: ie. like hiking in the woods and allowing the nature made by the Creator, to speak and sooth your wrinkles out about your decision. This has worked over and over for me.

Hello Rowena, first of all i must say you've produced a video that appealed to me when saw the title. One year ago i started my journey of lifelong-learning. I started programming, this field is so big that alone there you'll have enough subjects to learn and discover. And it's constantly evolving. How do i keep motivated would you ask. Besides eating healthy, exercising, and other self-care, i'm always imagining what the result would look like, if i would succeed coding a script. It can be the result of an App, website, or just the desired outcome of a calculation. Keeping others in mind is key there for me. Because i like the feedback that they would give me after finishing a project.

Not a bad format but I also love chatty Ro too lol when I'm outside of work I like to do things in a slower pace which is why I think I prefer your chatty vids--the content, no matter which pace, is the same of you IMO. I carve out at least 1 day a wk to get up & go to a cafe...I love exploring my neighborhood. I go & really let myself be guided. I could be journaling, planning, reading, watching a vid...whatever! But I have a notebook in hand & someone in the sesh it jumps out to me what to focus on learning next! Once I do that, oddly, the format gravitates to me, the following wk someone will bring up the topic, I'll find a book, I'll stumble upon a vid or podcast, etc. it's a lovely process I've been testing out for a few months now. 😊
