An excellent process of surrendering the thoughts , resistances without showing any interest in pursuing which effortlessly vanishes and keeps us rooted to our beingness. Thanks a lot for the easiest approach to do away with form identification and its consequent suffering.

Hi, really enjoying these meditation videos. Lately, I get distracted by my mind repeating these pointers that I hear from meditation videos. These thoughts seem more subtle than the regular normal chatter so it can be hard to recognize as soon as I identify with them. Also have been using the theta track you recommended, do you recommend to do meditation sometime without any binaural beats or guidance? Thanks!
@selfinquiryschool

Happy the videos are helping! You can feel free to do it without the theta waves. That is not a necessary component. I only recommend it as a supplement which often helps people.

I noticed a lot of sensations in my body, more than being distracted by thoughts. Third eye area was "lit-up" and burning and it felt like there were electrical currents in my head. I was telling myself to not engage with the sensations, but they were very seductive and quite enjoyable, in fact.

Mostly I like this! My concern is that you come down too hard on the EGO/mind as the "bad guy" Until and unless you go free then truly everything is an illusion including being at war with Maya. Suffering (and that too) is an illusion that takes many forms and torments us. If happiness and abundance are your true nature then wouldn't it be more helpful to wake-up to that which keeps us separate. Mind patterns such as habitually being broke or having an empty fridge, a never ending pile of unlaundered clothes these are all evidence that your asleep! Mindfulness (awareness) is the perfect antidote to resolving these afflictions. You need to start somewhere?

Don’t mean to paint out the mind in a bad image. It is not a problem. Only in the beginning do we need to look entirely away from the noise to recognize the ever present nature of silence. As we become more established in that recognition, noise is no longer a problem and it loses its power to drown out the silence, which is always accompanying it.

"I am that I AM." I have a problem with that sentence. Why isn't "BEING IS" even more fundamental? Because somehow I know that "I AM" is more fundamental than "BEING IS". ❤

@bille77

Actually it is quite easy: You simply have to pay attention to finding whatever it is that's most fundamental. In other words what is the only "thing" that's ALWAYS there. FULL STOP. 😂❤

"Don't make an effort to make it effortless". Thats just a play on words and gives people the wrong impression that no work is needed. It does indeed take effort, dedication, and maturity to even get a glimpse of what you are talking about. Don't underplay it or minimize the work that lays ahead on this path.

Sunny I have a question based on manifestation and nonduality. What caused you to switch over to nondual content from LOA videos? I find it hard to strike a balance between accepting things as they are when I can manifest my own reality? Any thoughts on this barrier?

Grateful for your teachings! The words arrogance and pride stood out. You used these allegorical attributes to convey a figurative understanding of the thinking mind’s self-importance. While I agree with this statement, I would simply like to offer the quality of obsessive compulsive thinking as an additional possible interpretation. Although the result of these all-consuming, loud, imposing intrusion of thoughts might look alike, their origins and thus their sensory quality are different. Anyway, the remedy of letting go as suggested by you works for both types, although compulsive thinking can be quite ‘stubborn’ when it comes to letting go of.

I watched all the way to the end with my eyes closed, but then my scalp began to itch, and it felt like little bugs were landing on my shoulders, and legs, and my left ear began to twitch 5 times per second, and I started to itch around my lips, eyes, forehead, chest, and eyebrows... etc. Is this normal? There are never any bugs in the room with me, but it felt like there were. All these distractions happened after about a half hour into my meditation, but when I opened my eyes, all the annoyances went away! Why does my body parts begin to itch whenever I meditate deeply? (P.S. ~ My body is always clean... so is it an ego or something subconscious that sabotages me?) If so, how do I make it stop? Thank you.
