I definitely get the looking at yourself part! I genuinely wanted to switch to using the front camera on my phone instead of the back (sacrificing quality) just so I can share my authentic self. A personal tip I have for anyone is to focus less on creating a perfect video (where everything is smooth talking) and Put MORE emphasis on improving with each video. BONUS: even if you aren’t completely proud of the video you did POST IT ANYWAY. Develop the mindset that “This video is going up regardless, so if I want better results I need to look ahead to the next video (instead of obsessing over that one line that didnt come out right) I find this mindset naturally makes you want to record more- which gives you practice-which will make you more confident.

Self-confidence is important to both your physical health and your psychological well-being. When you believe in yourself you’re more likely to try new things, devote your time and energy to tasks that matter, make good lifestyle choices, and foster healthy relationships. 💯

Thank you so much for sharing this brilliant content I also have another question, as a beginner how do we get our content to get subscribers if we still feel a little shy posting it on our social media? I want to get views simply from KZitem alone any tips
@thetalltales8647

How long after you started making KZitem videos did you recruit an editor?
@JadeBeason

Around 5 months. The decision was mostly influenced by the rate at which my business was growing, I reached a point where I didn’t have capacity to continue editing my own videos!

=Thanks for posting this video I've been trying to gain more confidence on camera for Instagram and youtube. I always thought looking at myself would throw the video off but you're right it makes it so much easier.

I feel that one the thing that help is doing a rehearse recording before doing the real video, just with the cellphone, not for publishing. Then you can screw it up however you want =)

Also my second language is English and I feel not very confident to speak on the camera because of the fear of am I good enough or what may people think. Maybe it's a total self-sabotage however would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks Jade!

Where can I get a video editor ? Also where is your mic from please
@JadeBeason
2 жыл бұрын
It’s a random £10 mic from Amazon! Type in ‘lapel microphone’ and you should be able to finally similar mics. My editor reached out to me, however there are loads of video editors on Fiverr, so maybe check there!
