I liked the video. Depending on how the master is mounted This ensures that all the air is out if the master before you mount it and you just have to bleed the line and your confident there is nothing trapped in the master.

Question, my friction plate wont disengage when pedal is fully depressed. Flywheel, friction plate, pressure plate and concentric slave + bearring are replaced 2 months ago and have done 2500miles with them without any problem. The problem started occuring when a friend of mine launched my car from a standstill and wanted to shift to 2nd. I've checked the shifting mechanism, bleeded but none worked. In first gear with clutch pedal depressed to the floor and accelerating the car creeps forward when close to redline. The slave cylinder moves out instantly when I'm depressing the clutch pedal, also it doesn't slip What i did notice is the level in the clutch resevoir is decreasing when the pedal is depressed and raises again when releasing (no leaks under the car or at the pedal)

Did you ever find out what the problem was? Seems like the CMC to me?

@@josh5291 I did, after lots of changing litterly everything excluding the throwoutbearring it appeared to be the friction plate being to high for the pressure plate. I had a reinforced pressureplate + friction plate because im running 330hp instead of 150. the company that reinforced it for me swapped the pressure plate out for one that was to high, got a new reinforced set in warranty. Sadly the gearbox was destroyed so i went for a diesel gearbox instead.

What about the slave cylinder you have to bench bleed it

I don't get bench bleeding. As soon as you open everything up to hook it up you get air into the system again. I'm going to gravity bleed first. Then ever so slowly press clutch in and out with a tube and a one way valve then close it up. Take another tube with a needle attachment and suck out the remaining air like that one dude did on his truck. Boom. Finished.

There are plenty of videos that explain in detail why and how this works, some are better then others. Bench bleeding is critical on some applications, like when the MC isn't level when installed, the air gets trapped, and you can't bleed it out.

Pre-fill the hose with some fluid since the first stroke probably won't fill the hose

You look like the American version of Luke on Robert Murray Smith channel.
