Thanks for pointing it out, I think that the camera was too far away. I had to mount it on the ground alongside the work bench

interesting idea using the sand to heat it from the inside out and use it to prevent kinking the pipe , going to try it

The trick is to compact the sand really well, and then block both sides to stop the sand shifting inside. good luck!!

@davekennedy52 like to try making a bend in a full length of pipe , going to take some finagling to put a plug on a rope quite a ways inside the pipe and use a stick to tamp the sand down and keep it compressed while bending , if it works i can use a pipe without glued joints and bend the pipe in two directions

@@watahyahknow Very interesting project, your plan sounds good. I can only suggest that you do a test run first with cold sand, so you know the exact quantity of sand that you need to heat up. Good luck!
