Is it stainless steel or titanium? Did you polish it before trying to color it? No matter the type of metal, it can only get so hot before it is beyond obtaining color. So if it is only glowing red, then it’s either being heated too quickly, or it was not polished enough and it is already beyond the blue color which means it will need to be re-polished to remove that layer of the metal

No worries, I’m here to help. To be too coarse (I spelt it wrong the first time, sorry) is the opposite of too fine. So a toothbrush has fine bristles while a wire wheel has coarse bristles. The more coarse it is then the more likely you are to make deep scratches. To remove the blue on the pipe you will need to start a little coarse then work your way up to a more fine wheel or steel wool. At first just try to remove the color, after about 90% of the color is gone, then start working your way through the different grades until you are using a very fine wheel or brush or whatever you choose. You know you can use baby oil to make it blue as well. And apply the torch

Can you explain to me the difference between stainless steel headers and titanium headers?What are the pros and cons?

Does the sound change?
@MotoJerg44

Titanium headers are lighter weight, won’t rust or corrode where stainless steel is a bit heavier, will rust if not dried well enough, but can take more hits from rocks and stones and resist denting better than titanium

But titanium headers gets a blue purple color at itself just by riding it so why would i do this if i can hit the throttle, have some fun and get the same result?😂
@MotoJerg44
Жыл бұрын
Because the header will not be as vibrant, shiny, and it will not blue the entirety of the pipe, just by the engine. This part will also turn to a very light blue after doing few motos, so essentially none of the pipe is blue at all

@@MotoJerg44not true. The only thing thsts true that its not all over the header but way more than just only by the engine. It looks way more naturally and way better.

This is not BLUING metal. If you go around calling this “bluing”, it’s just a matter time before someone laughs in your face.

Yet somehow by calling it “bluing” metal, it was discovered by 65.7K people looking to do exactly what I did in the video. Oops.
