I'll wrap up this Brewday with a taste test and compare different yeast strains. I'll also compare my NEIPA to a commercial Hazy IPA.
The recipe:
7 lbs of Pilsner 2 row
3 lbs of Flaked Oats.
1 lbs of Torrified wheat
Fermenter #1
Londona Ale III
Fermenter #2
Imperial Dry HOP yeast
Water profile:
Calcium: 50 ppm
Sodium: 5 ppm
Sulfates: 35 ppm
Chloride: 70 ppm
Hops during whirlpool
1.45 ounces of Amarillo
1.45 ounces of Citra
.72 ounces of Mosaic
.72 ounces of Galaxy
Dry Hops
3 Days After Pitching Yeast
1 oz of Citra
1 oz of Amarillo
0.75 oz of Galaxy
10 Days After Pitching Yeast
2 oz of Amarillo
2 oz of Citra
