Fin video!

Prøv istedet at find noget carapils.

For sent🤣.

When do you at the Glycerine to the fermenter, before fermentation or at the end?
@Beerstories

The last time I just did it in the whirlpool to make sure it was pasteurized 😊

@Beerstories

Is it correctly understood that you dry hop 2 days after yeasting?
@Beerstories
Yes, I dry hop 2 days to avoid hop burn. Most of the flavors are extractet after 4-24 hours. Phenols peak after 3 days and they couse hop burn. I start dryhopping after fermentation.

@@Beerstories My question was actually this: You wait to dry hop until the yeasting is over? And not from start of yeasting?

When I enter this into Beersmith it estimates 2.6% ABV? I used a single infusion mash 80C for 30min. I used the exact grain bill.

Did you use Windsor Lallemand yeast? Have you tried to just import mine? Brewfather says 0.9%

@@Beerstories Thanks for the reply. Yes, I used all the same ingredients. My thought is Beersmith software does not know how to handle the high temperature mash. Sounds like a good recipe. I will brew it soon.

Would this be hard as a first time brew? I thought to do a biab. Seems intimidating with all the extras.

I wouldn’t recommend this for your first brew. I would with something simple and easy lile a brown ale og cream ale. To do this correct tou have to be really good at your proces and that takes some time 😊

@@Beerstories I have previously made a porter and an IPA before. Many years ago. I would really prefer without alcohol. The main differences are adding lactose in boil and askorbin before bottling? I would need to measure the PH as well to make sure it's not too high?

@@Beerstories When do you add askorbinsyre and Glycerin? Do you transfer to a different vessel for bottling or no?
@Beerstories
Yes 😊 This method has to have some alcohol. 0,5% ABV is the lowest you can go, I think. Otherwise you won’t get good flavor

Glycerine at bottling and ascorbic acid I usually with the dryhop if it’s an IPA. Otherwise you can add it with the yeast or at bottling 😊
