My form to prepare this is more cold, put in a glass of stainless steel some cubes of ice to half of the glass later put yerba mate to 3/4 part of the glass, turn down and shake 20 seconds and put the bombilla until bottom in middle of the ice cubes. The traditional form is with limonade with or without ice but We in Argentina also preparing with envolves juices, this is recommended to high temperatures or in summer. I can't speak English right but I tried expressed the best possible.

3 years later but your instructions were very clear for English not being your native language and as such your comment was very helpful my friend. Just made my first Tereré thank to you my brother /sister / friend! Sending you and yours much love and prayers from the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, USA.

Thanks so much for taking a chance on selling Yerba Mate in the US all the way back when. It’s truly wonderful stuff and I’m so happy every time I drink it.

Excelente trabajo. Muy bien explicado desde el punto de vista de como lo consumimos los paraguayos. Aunque en toda la region se consume la yerba, va cambiando de forma de tomarla.

Nice instructional videos.. i just don't understand why he is hating on the bitter flavours. For me this is part of what makes the overall flavour of yerba maté so great!

Like Tiffany O'Neill mentioned (and the video at the end), it is common to drink with Tang or another juice, like lemonade. Delicious!

i might be kinda late to the game but my question is important. HOW OFTEN can you refill that water until you have to throw out the mate herbs ?

Oh, one thing I would like to ask about yerba mate in general, I do tend to buy organic teas and coffees whenever I can, as well, the yerba I got from you I chose the organic one. Is regular yerba (non organic) sprayed much? ... I think I read somewhere that pesticides aren't really very necessary for yerba mate.

la yerba más rica es la Taragüí...! Aunque a mí me gusta el mate bien bien caliente, aún en verano, en la playa, donde sea, lo tomo súper caliente... y con zúcar o edulcorante, o de última, con miel... pero amargo, nop...

Good job on the video! Makes me want to try it cold. I just ordered a couple kilos from you a few weeks back, arrived here in Nova Scotia in record time. I like it, it's good healthy "tea".

The correct pronunciation is not "terry" it's "Te-re-rÊ".

Many times in Spanish, the "r" sounds like a "d" sound. That is applied with the word "tereré". In Argentina, tereré is served with a juice. Mainly tang. But there is more than orange tang.

Wrong. As a Spaniard, I can assure you that the consonant t is always pronounced as a t, never as a d.
