If you had general size of your windows then made them first. You could have drawn round them onto your brickwork and dropped them into the holes.then add the dressing strips around everything.😀 Making them after is going to make things a lot harder to fit build them into your holes that you made first😥 .. i.e. I want four 3 inch square windows, make the four windows with glazing fitted. Lay them on brickwork and draw round, cut and fit.😀.. You are still going to have to fit glass into all these panels. That will be very hard now the windows are in the wall🤔

Yes, I did think of doing it that way, as "Drop in's" AFTER I started the first window. Sadly, I discovered that my holes are not perfectly cut either. I will try to make 2 "Drop In" frames for the 2 remaining holes.

I did say to you that the conversion is not very accurate for real world engineering but for general 1/24 or 1/25 scale use like this it wold be a lot easier and quicker for, let's say, marking out you're bricks etc. When something is pretty generic and not necessarily uniform. But I find it an easy equation. Good luck with the rest of the build and best wishes from jolly old England 👍🎅😎Pete. 🤓🎅Merry Christmas 👍🎅

You did say that for sure! I just found it nice that I actually had that chart in my collection of books. I wonder how much other knowledge I'll find along the way.
