You are a very skilled and patient builder I'm building a trike right now and do you recommend fixed axle (like this video shows) or a rolling axle (like you put on you motorized trike)? inflatable tires with pvc over them or wood with pvc?
@smitherszx7
10 жыл бұрын
Thanks bud...i do recommend a fixed axle so the bearings are in the wheels...also recommend inflatable wheels....i use wood with couplings alot simply because it is a much cheaper way to go but they work perfectly....in some of my vids, i use 1/2" axle but thats because i had 50' of it lying around...5/8 or 3/4 will give ya much stronger axle....i always reply to Q's guys and good luck with your build..

I've got a new challenge for you. A bolt-together trike that collapses or can be taken apart for compact storage. I live in an apartment and an idea of the space I've got, I need it to fit in the trunk of my car lol. If you were building that, where would you focus on making the bolt-away parts? I'm thinking a bolt-away steering neck or simply a bike with a removable handlebar, and bolt-away axle or seat. I'm not even sure if it's do-able, I just learned about drift trikes about a month ago so yeah lol.
