:D thanks! I'm an OLD widow woman & I only have a Handyman. and I live alone. AND a raccoon trying to gnaw it's way into my trailer. hahahaha, my 5 lb. Chihuahua is my only guard. Seriously though, just want to thanks for putting this on. I REALLY needed this. Wish It was in Spanish though. :}

you can also drill a hole into your mechanism so that when its triggered it doesnt fly off your trap. a simple dowel rod connected to two beams on either side is great. allows easy movement but keeps it on top of the trap making it easier to reset

Plexiglass also works well for the other end of the trap instead of wire. Just have to notch the sides of the trap so you can lift it up and slide it out whenever you want so you can put the bait in. Plus if you get a skunk in there it can't spray you through the plexiglass.

yeah? i still use snares but it seems they are not working as well as they use to, last week i set up 28 snares and only got 1 rabbit, i was thinking about buying one of the box traps on ebay for $50 i hear there good.

I made one like this for possums but they keep climbing on top and setting it off from above.. think I need a new mechanism on the inside of the box.
