Clocks & Colours is a brand that I will always stand behind - not only because of the gorgeous work they do, but because of their philosophy as artists - following your gut As an artist and art KZitemr, my creative process is defined by that philosophy Awesome partnership - one more reason I’m so proud to be Canadian My love to you both.

"..I wasn't really concerned, like if this is gonna become a real business or anything. I just wanted something where I could make some cool products that I was into." In my humble opinion, this is the biggest take away. Too often we hear things like "make stuff with your customer/audience in mind". While that has it's place, it can be limiting in the creative space. Build a brand that's for you. There are almost 8 billion peeps roaming the planet. Someone will be down. Chase what makes you happy. Not what makes others.

There's a short video from Joe Rogan with Michael Pollan, "What Michael Pollan Learned from Quitting Caffeine for 3 Months." Taking a break once allows you to have a much deeper appreciation for and experience with caffeine. (I have yet to try myself, but thought it was relevant to what Shane mentioned)

Inspiration is a funny thing... being inspired. I too am taking a journey of personal crreation, taking my own work, my own art and trying to make something with it. Tonight I have listened to Adma Savage from tested, give advice to his thirty year old self, that was solid (no, I'm not 30, I'm 51) and one of the first things I thought after I heard it... other than being inspired was... I want his t shirt. And then this video comes up, and I always enjoy the content and knowing a bit about your journey I knew it would be inspiring.. and at once of the first things I thought was... I need a ring. Now sadly, I don;t have the funds for either... breaking out alone in my current situation means I am living on a shoe string... But, I will be heading ack to south east asia myself next year and when i do, you can bet your life I'll be having a ring made, and a t shirt printed :D Great video... very inspiring.
