Beautiful. Love the floral hoops. I found your channel recently and subscribed immediately. You helped me so much with the wedding I did in July!! It had been ten years since I had done my last one. You give such practical helpful advice for advance preparations and for creating each floral element. Thank you for creating and sharing this content. I really appreciate it! Linda from Texas

I just bought a few hoops just to play with (new biz owner and designer here and a bit late to the the style game) but anyways, thank you for your clear and concise instructions. (I am reminded how difficult some “instructions” if that is what we’d call them can be - it took me SEVEN hours to figure out an AC window unit bracket setup and a total of 12 to get it into the window and turned on (wratchet Thotty a$$ man instructions). Even your drawings are noble prize worthy compared to that experience (sorry still fresh in my mind). BTW thank you for your hi-Larious subtitles(?) ! I’m know in life, we’d totally be friends. This sh!t you say is the sh!t I am always thinking.

We're so happy you found our "instructions" helpful! We try to make it as real as possible, since this design stuff can be challenging and we know the struggle can be reallll.

Would the hoop from tablecloth factory be sturdy enough for use as a floral chandelier? Have been looking for a lightweight 36" hoop for this purpose to use in a tent.

I think so! I was wondering the same thing when I bought it and found it sturdy enough. XOXO

I love all your videos, I used grocery store flowers practice for a backyard wedding in September, I watched all your videos and followed your great advIse, did a bouquet, a tall centerpiece using a cylinder, I wrapped the foam in chicken wire and used the clay tape as you suggested, i did a centerpiece using a glass bowl, we are having rectangular tables so i also did bud vases, and an arrangement for the aisle chairs, thanks to all your tutorials everything turned our beautiful and now i feel confident i can do it. I want to do the hoops for the backyard ceremony, so i have a few questions, how many hours will the italian ruskus survive without water, because i don't have a cooler large enough to fit the hoop (maybe I'll have to get one) and how many hours will the flowers survive without water, how many hours before the ceremony can add the flowers and hang the hoops?I'm doing the flowers for a relative, Is a backyard wedding in mid-September in the mid-west, thanks again for all your help!

That's incredible that you are practicing, so so smart!!!! Italian Ruscus does really really well outside of water, but it only takes a hot minute to wire it to a hoop. You could attach it the day before and mist with Crowning Glory or Hawaiian Mist and it'll be fine the next day. For flowers, you could do them the morning of, mist them, leave them in doors where it's cool, and hang them a few hours before the wedding. Carnations, cushions, and roses will hold up well. XOXOXOX

How would you attach flowers to a circle arch like this but the large backgdrop kind?
@FlowerMoxie
Жыл бұрын
If you're doing a large ceremony circle arch, you can use floral foam cages and zip tie them directly to the circle. This would give you a heavier floral look. If you wanted a lighter floral look, you could use Oasis floral foam garland and zip tie that to the circle arch!

Do the flowers and foliage not wilt quickly

Not if you use hardy ones like carnations, cushion flowers, poms, roses, and things like that! They'll look good for at least a half-day, you'd be surprised at how long hardy blooms look good out of water. XOXOX
