The best advice I can give anyone having trouble is.... pinch don't use thumbs

Sounds like a skill issue (p.s. if you fly your drone while looking at your phone you're flying FPV Mate). 1) it does have RTH 2) add RSSI and DbM to your OSD so you don't fly out of range 3) don't fly out of range lol 4) consumer drones don't have telemetry (GPS Coords) pings that last up to a month after a crash which allow you to locate them....

@Kleinage

That’s the touching two pens to the same dot part. Soldering is fun! Just practice before you do it to your flight controller or esc. I started a middle school drone club and I have 6th and 7th graders who are quickly getting the hang of basic soldering (tinning a pad, connecting a wire to a pad, desoldering a wire and a pad). Me and my 70 something year old dad both have shaky hands and we can do it to. You can solder! It’s a bit of an art and you’ll mess up at times but just embrace the mental focus that it brings.

LMAOO, just built my first drone a few days ago, only waiting for batteries to arrive, but I've been trying to bind it through beta flight for 2 days and nothing 😢

I think it's bound with the controller bc the reciever stops flashing and my radio master Zorro says it's connected but in betaflight the values don't change..

If you turn off the drone does receiver say telemetry lost? Are you seeing responses in the receiver tab? Is it elrs? If so there’s a community discord that can help. You need to make sure you have the correct protocol set in the receiver tab, if elrs set to CRSFR.

@TheTomJon
Жыл бұрын
Depends what your setup is; the khole / races that are high uptilt are kinda ungodly compared to real life. If you search me on the steam workshop I have some drones on there and everything but the racers are great for realism. I did about 20 hours or so on liftoff before flying IRL and it went smooth. Nothing compares to real life tho. These days I tend to rotate between velocidrone liftoff and DRL (for heavy lifting) depending on the day.
