Dear Jovan, twenty years ago I worked on some advanced projects on refrigeration with Peltier cells that are still an industrial secret; if you want to significantly increase the performance of a thermoelectric cooler you must consider cooling it with heat pipe exchangers loaded with low boiling fluids, because the warm side of the Peltier cells is a concentrated heat source that needs to work at low temperature and this condition unfortunately cannot be realize with simple fins not even forced air cooled!

it's better to use a fridge instead of peltier . fridge has approximately 140W compressor and has more than 50% efficiency while the peltier has only 15%.. Just leave a fan in the opened fridge and let it that. Simple ,easy , efficient ( definitely than TEC ) .. You need to use approximately 8x 100W peltier to offset the power of the fridge and this is huuuuuge difference.

Either the fridge or the peletier produce as much heat as they cool + heat from the electrical losses what leads to you either way heating the room instead of cooling it. It can't works because: - Cool and hot air are in the same room, it's stupid to make hot and cool air and let it mix together (You should push the hot air outdoor) - Peltier cell has very low efficient, it's not plausible to cool a tiny room with this device. Apart that you will need more than 2Amps, so your power supply will produce more hot air, that make this device more uneffective ... waste of time ...
@luflagavirallia9659
5 жыл бұрын
can you elaborate the 2amps part? say i have power supply 12v 8A to 12v 6A peltier, does that mean the power supply generates more heat or the peltier? thanks, my grandpa is Dumb-ledore. I can only understand translated science
@Huherko
5 жыл бұрын
@@luflagavirallia9659 It's simply - Your power supply is not 100 effective, some of energy is wasted and turned to heat, how many? - You can calculate it after measuring energy before and after device. Peltier cell don't divide energy 50/50 between hot and cold side - more is going to hot side, so here You produce more hot than cold air :) If You want, You can look at film on YT with my old air conditioner, but I make a little bit different construction. kzitem.info/news/bejne/uKmPv6OLnYinbJg
