I love this cart. As a huge coffee drinker I would like to see the coffee machine working as I'm waiting for my coffee... so I would try to move the menu banner upwards or to the side. The coffee machine and roaster are huge magnets and part of the show, so IMO they should always be super visible

Thanks for the ideas! With the machines we’re using, I’m not sure we want them to be front and center. For the specific event we’re doing it’s about speed and not form. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good coffee - but it’s a special kind of chaos back there lol! If you’re at all interested, we upgraded the cart last year so it looks quite a bit different. Thanks for the idea in the Video. JOAM. My daughter and I are looking at different carts to start our coffee business.

Glad it could help out. I got a few ideas to upgrade for this year before august - if you’re not already up and running that is.

Great build. I am looking at doing something similar with my fresh squeezed lemonade tent. We are doing folding tables now and the setup is too time consuming. I need something light and mobile that we can also store supplies in for transport. Do you also store the supplies in there during transport or fill the shelves on site? I'm trying to minimize how many boxes of stuff we are bringing to each event.

Thanks so much! Typically we fill the shelves on site. We only use it a couple of times per year so I haven’t invested much into the transport process.

The health inspector approved this build?? Cuz I see gallons of milk sitting on a shelf towards the ground lol. I’m not being negative but wouldn’t you be worried that the inspector popped up and questioned that?? I love the build though. Pretty nifty. Thanks for sharing 😊

Wow, you are definitely eagle eyed LOL! Yes, the health inspector approved us this year and last. Actually, those two gallons of milk were left in a mini-fridge that got too cold and they froze solid overnight. They were just put there in the midst of sorting which ones were good and which were frozen. We eventually just had to get rid of them. It was just one thing in a whole weekend of chaos. This year was much smoother. I’m going to do an update video on changes I made to the cart this year - hopefully soon! Thanks for watching!

@@JackofAllMinistries hahaha I get it!! I worked for a coffee cart 25 yrs ago. And I had just made a drink for a customer. The milk pitcher was on the counter and before I had the chance to clean it, the health inspector walked in. She interrogated me for that milk pitcher. I said “I literally just used it for a customer” lol. Ever since then, I’m very meticulous about anything time and temperature controlled. When I saw those 2 gallons, it brought me back 😂😂😂 Thanks for the reply. Can’t wait to see the updated video.

Have you built the washing station?

We upgraded the cart quite a bit this year and I think that might be my next video. We didn’t build in the wash station, but we bought one that works great. I think I might connect to it with a built in cup washer.

was this approved by your health department? we are looking into building one but we have to have it approved by the health department for events

Yes, the county health inspector came out and gave us a permit. It was $30 and they just made us rig up a simple hand washing station. We needed 5 gallons of water, soap, hand towels and it all had to land in a bucket. They also made sure we all had our food handlers permits. That was it! It was pretty simple.

@@JackofAllMinistries Awesome. I have the same phillips coffee machine so i would want to avoid all the waterlines and stuff like all these other videos i'm seeing. lol. yours looks pretty simple. Do you have building plans that you could share on exact pieces to buy and everything?

@@RaveeGirll Yep, I tried to make it simple, light and cheap. I did better on some of those things than others LOL! Unfortunately I don’t have plans, I made up a lot of parts as I went.

Wish you showed the cart more when you were finished. And you need to talk less...
