The series is just what we were looking for. It is our first time building a shed. Could you, please, list the building material ( the kind of nails, lumber, etc.)? Thank you.

Nice work. And props: You managed to find more straight lumber for this small project than I've been able to locate at a two-dozen Lowes, HD, and Parr lumber yards within 100 miles of my home. What is available to DIY'ers is both crap, and ungodly expensive.

Thank you for the great instructions you provide. I really enjoy your videos. However, I have a question. How do we weather proof the sides which back up against the back wall. I’m anchoring my shed to the wall of my house. I have a brick veneer house, but the concern would be the same regardless of it being weatherboard or brick veneer. My concern is when it rains directly in that area (back house wall) or when the wind pushes the rain in that direction, it will rot out the back wall. Does anyone here have any ideas or suggestions to deal with this? Thank you guys in advance 🙏

Thanks for the series. I'm looking forward to seeing you finish it I"m looking to building one 16'x8'. It will be a 6'x8' chicken coop and the other side will be a shed. Do you think the blocking you use can do 16x8?

Yes. My bigger shed is 10x14 and the foundation is built with deck blocks. Check out my article: plasticinehouse.com/how-to-build-slanted-roof-style-shed-guide/ but you can use less deck blocks then I used.

Hi, I stumbled across this video and it is exactly the size and style of shed I want to build. This is my first time project for me. Can you post the framing dimensions on your website... Thanks.

@@plasticinehouse9547 Let me ask you a rookie question before I build this spring. Why the 16 3/4 “ between studs instead of 24”, so that when you put the plywood on the walls, it will fit exactly, without cutting?

Looking at this video from 6:40 you will see that this is not the same frame. The first frame has double rows like reinforcement while the frame he is going to put wood on is single. K eep watching they are single rows. Watch closely before he puts down the flooring.

The frame he’s working on at 6:40 is the door side, the frame it switches to that he puts the sheathing on (not a floor) is the one he started with.
